It can be done! And I did it with no car either! For ten years! Hitch hiked the United States and Canada as well as hopping trains like a hobo.

Yeah, $60 was the least expensive I could find within a 90-minute drive radius. Prices sure have jacked in recent years. I chose the hotel route to prove it could be done.
