Bro what tripod you use for your camera? I have got p1000 tryed many tripods, all of them like rubbish lol. The camera is too heavy especially when I zoom. I do a wild life photography and astro as well. Thanks for your videos, very informative!

Picture quality good. But not best if you think it’s price level. In this price Dslr picture quality best. If you need more zoom. You can buy it. Its sensor small. So it’s picture quality normal. But it’s zoom Picture better than same price Dslr
It's picture quality better than normal (Dslr+normal lense ). Overall good.

i am returning this camera s it is terrible for self timer. it goes back to 2 seconds when you put it at 10 seconds and can only have that with 'moon; mode.. or u have to get up each time and switch to 10 seconds , flip the camera and take the pic.. maddening.

B500 doesn't have the manual mode
nikon coolpix b500 has manual focus area .

darn. this was looking like the perfect camera for me but with no manual mode its useless to me
Daniel Kezar same here, i should've read more about this camera. Now I'm stucked and i can't evolve
darn. its annoying because when i googled "manual exposure camera" this is what came up even though it isnt manual. luckily i figured it out before i ordered it and i chose a different one. i ended up getting the canon powershot sx530. cheaper than this one and shoots 1080p video and 16mp and 50x optical zoom.
