Sorry Anu, the P900 is not like a DSLR camera and when you start to record the Nikon go in Auto Mode, that means that you can't choose the Iso or aperture or Shutter Speed. You need lot of light to get the best from the Nikon Coolpix P900.

Hello Rodel, for the video you can change only the Movie Option (video resolution) and I always suggest to set on 1080/60p. When you use the maximum zoom you can lose the focus, and this depends on several factors. Do you use a tripod? When you zoom in to the max you need a good tripod. Don't use the maximum zoom if it is not necessary, the Coolpix P900 give you the best at 800 or 1000mm. Are there disturbing objects between the camera and the subject? Try to switch on manual focus or use the spot focus in automatic. Let me know how is going.

I understand, but when the camera says Card Not Supported, that means that the card is not fast enough, that doesn't mean the card is small. You need to buy a fast card, SD Extreme Pro 170 mb/s 128 or 256gb and trust me that will be enough.

Hello, the camera allows you to record up 30 minutes in low resolution and up 15 minutes in high resolution 1080 60p. You can't change this. Most cameras has this limitation to protect the camera from the over heating. It is the same for me with a sd card of 64gb. Let me know if you will find the way to record long videos. After 30 or 15 minutes you need press the record button again to keep recording.
Hello, any camera needs light to take decent photos and videos. You will always need a good light source for your videos. If you need record during poor light condition you need increase the ISO, low shutterspeed 1/30 or 1/60, 24fps and aperture 2.8 or 3.5. I hope that does make sense.
I shot a vedio while I kept the aperture around 4.6 amd then I shot the same scene with aperture 8.0 but I still get the same blur as the 4.6 ..... any fix for that..... also same happens withe th shutter speed...plz reply

Two things that really annoy me about the P900 is the lack of an external microphone jack and no remote control over video functions. So you can't zoom, etc. remotely.
Yes true Gary, when Nikon made the P900 everything was concentrate to make a camera with large zoom, and of course there are few features missing, like use an external flash and external microphone.

What is the shutterspeed? If there is not too much light you need increase the iso or lower the shutterspeed.

Why not make the shutter speed the same as the frame rate?
We can only chose the frame rate, I prefer 60p, the footage is nice and smooth
