One thing YOU didn't know about the Yachtmaster...the blue dial version is the only version not pictured in the most recent Rolex catalog...possibly meaning it's going to be discontinued? Time will tell.

Noticed that myself and that’s the model I own. Such a sleeper I honestly don’t get why they aren’t as popular in the market but suits me I’m glad you don’t see many on peoples wrists.
I own two tone yachtmaster 40 with chocolate dial…..it’s outstanding watch…..still in love with it….it’s such a piece of art I tell u.

Can I ask, what's the contrast like, can you read the time in low light? I seriously want one the white walker but wondered about this.
I told my boss I dream of getting a Sailboat when I retire, and I was gifted the Yacht Master after a very successful year.

People sleep on the YM. I have the 40mm white walker and it’s one of the nicest looking Rolex ever made.

The YM 1 is the only current Rolex model I'm interested in (don't own any right now) and I put my name in for a Rhodium dial YM at my local AD

I have two. One platinum and one two tone, white face. Absolutely love them! Classy, elegant and sporty all in one watch.
I'm not a Rolex fan but this Gold/Black Yachtmaster on rubber strap looks sexy. Shame my wallet doesn't agree on this one. Wearing the Longines Hydroconquest Grey on rubber strap.

Today I'm wearing the Tudor Pelagos 42mm black face, it's become my daily wear and being titanium is so balanced and comfortable. As for the Yacht master I agree with the blue hands version
Like the blue dial Pt bezel, note 100m is more than enough for SCUBA diving for 90% or more of divers-it is all you need for an ISO diver. And the Yact-Master probably good well below that since it has the triplock crown like the Sub.
Omega Planet Ocean, rubber inset bezel with the black and orange rubber strap, just bought it, new favourite watch.

I have the Yacht-Master, blue dial. Gorgeous watch! However it gets the least amt of wrist time. I’m afraid to scratch it. My Submariner & Omega Planet Ocean I wear ALL the time!
I added protection film and didn’t wear it at all until after installation. Now, it’s hermitically sealed.
Does it scratch easy?

Love the Yacht Master 40mm design and case… the platinum bezel is outstanding but (I know you are losing precious metal) would like to have a ceramic bezel to make the Yacht Master more sturdy… wearing now my Rolex submariner LV (aka Cermit)

4th day with the green bezel Sub (Kermit). Believe it or not it took a little getting used to. It needs to be outside in natural light.
On My wrist right now: YM 40 Rhodium dial. Highly recommended :)
@@lnielsen9866 Honestly I am VERY careful with this watch. The bezel is beautiful. But the raised numerals are polished to a mirror like finish & the background is a sandblasted finish. I don't feel this bezel could be easily repaired if it were scratched badly. It would have to be ($$$) replaced. Ouch....

I got offered this watch from the AD and knocked it back? Am I going to regret it in the future? I think so.
I must admit I do like the Yacht-Master. When I was at the AD some weeks ago there was one on display, there was also an Explorer 36 stainless steel next to it... As much as I like the Yacht-Master I think I'd probably go for the Explorer if the opportunity arose. I guess I still prefer the every day GADA Explorer. On the wrist today is an Oris Dat Watt Aquis.
I owned the Yachtmaster Rhodeum Dial and sold it years ago for 8500€ :(

The first Yacht Master that was released back in 1992 was reference 16628 -- an 18K yellow gold dive watch with a white dial. Maybe know what the hell you're talking about if you want to make a video about something.
