Limited Locations: Pet Photography Challenge!

A lot of my followers on Instagram tell me that I must have the most magical locations for taking my photos. In fact, that just isn't true. I'm in some pretty average woods, but I know how to be creative with my locations. So, for the rest of November, I'm challenging my followers to get creative and learn more about using limited locations to improve their pet photography skills! Want to join? The challenge is:
Find an area out in nature, about 10m in diameter, with a few points of "visual interest". These could be ferns, rocks, moss, branches, leaves, flowers, or things with interesting colours or textures. In that small area, take a variety of photos - you'll see my examples in the video! Edit them, then upload them to Instagram, using the hashtag #inspawrationchallenge and tagging me in the photo.
At the end of the month I'll be having a look through all the entrants, offering some feedback and critique, and posting my favourites to my IG.
When I did this challenge for myself I found it was a really great way to stretch myself creatively, to use the location I was in in as many ways as possible, to see different parts of the lighting, textures, foregrounds and backgrounds from different angles and how this could create a photo.

Awesome stuff, I usually have trouble in forests with Jommy since she has a darker face and Mara picks up light beautifully so will this will be a fun challenge!

I mean you don't have to go in a forest. Actually I went all the way around the edge of this forest as I wanted to be on the edge for the maximum amount of light on Loki's face especially, but in the end I didn't like those spots so much, and this had the large clearing overhead so made use of it :)
