What made Coach Prime even more great is he wasn’t even a big hitter. He didn’t really tackle people because he didn’t want to. He didn’t want to hurt himself or whoever he was covering during the possession. Majority of his plays came from interceptions or deflection and if he did tackle you. It’s because he was chasing the receiver down from another defensive players mistake. He didn’t like the hard hitting contact. I watched him play during his career and he’s even said that on several occasions. That’s also why he did stay committed to the being a receiver as well. He definitely was great on both sides though for sure.

I don't think people forget how great Deion Sanders was. The fact is that Deion himself praises Travis as such and gives his stamp of approval for Travis playing both ways in the NFL. Just listen to Deion talk about Travis Hunter. He sees something inside Travis that he himself has. That's greatness on another level. I think it comes down to which is more challenging to him if he wants to outdo Prime he'll choose DB if its about return on investment and risk management receiver and DB on redzone type situations. He might be able to get close to receiver money as DB if he comes in as a receiver on special packages or redzone situations because he has JJ reliability to catch in clutch moments I could see a well run organization justifying the extra cost.

It was violent, a gladiator sport, it was WAR. They changed it to bring in more views, longetivity, and overall health. I tore my ACL after catching a helmet to the side of my knee my Senior year, still played college ball so I honestly agree with the changes to an extent. He should play DB at the next level full time and Wide Receiver a few plays a game. Receivers are paid now more than corners, but sooner or later that will change as corner is a more important position. Its much harder these days to find a lot down corner than a dynamic Receiver. Teams win all the time without gamebreaker wideouts in this current era of football.
