Dan Ingram did voice overs for programming on TV LAND starting on December 1, 1997, and continuing until 1999 when he did the TV LAND promos, the coming up schedule on TV LAND, the program next on TV LAND, and the ID bumpers, the break bumpers and return to the show bumpers, and narrated credits we've heard. And he was an East Coast DJ before he did his voice overs, as it brings back great memories. And thanks for sharing his celebration of his life.
He was the best He left a life long impression on me. Things I do and say I realized that he was the influence! My sense of humor evolved from his. It was as if he was in my real life. He was. Daily, 6 days a week. Through the great and wonderful times as well as the bad and terrible times. Dan got me through it. I may have never met him in person but he was one of the greatest influences on my life. He had no idea. But I do. I did. I always will. RIP Big Dan. Natalie Wood, Marilyn May and Dynamite.
He was funny as hell on CBS FM. I don't remember the song, but he played something one day that had a drum intro, and over this intro, he went, "Owe, owe, owe, owe, owe!". He and all the DJs on that station at that time made what was already entertaining even more so.
Such a Beautiful Send Off! I was amazed about the stories being shared here, on RUclips & how much he did for others.Great Job Chris Ingram & Dan Taylor & yes The Great Memories of listening to Big Dan will Never Be Forgotton & the many Laughs!
I MET DAN INGRAM AT 1330 STUDIO 8 A WITH 14 DAYS LEFT FOR MUSIC RADIO I SPENT 3 HOURS IN STUDIO TO A MAN WHO KEPT ME A BOY WITH CEREBRAL PALSY COMPANY.II WAS LEAVING HE SAID PLEASE COME BACK, I NEVER DID MY BIGGEST REGRET
It's so sad us Disc Jockeys are no longer needed, so said Larry Lujack about a year or so before he passed. I made a name for myself in my market, even a small station owner. In 2020, fully now retired due to financial and physical problems. I think Mr. Ingram feels the same. He was good on WKTU!
Summers growing up at the beach in Connecticut always included 77 music radio. Great memories.
Thank you for sharing his celebration of his life.

The greatest of all Disc Jockeys. I was proud to call him a friend. He made me laugh, and isn't that the greatest gift?
We miss you Dan Taylor at CBS FM . They did you wrong and dirty.

Dan and Cousin Brucie were always my favorite WABC personalities. Thanks for filling my life with music and laughter.
