Sooooo underrated: treadmill w weights. Curls, overheads, flys. Increases heart rate, tones the muscles, requires balance and coordination. Total workout. So underrated.
Toning the muscle isn’t a thing. Impossible with such light weights. You either build muscle with intensity through progressive overload or your cutting and losing weight and muscle which is what happened when you. It might make you sweat a bit more doing it but it serves no real purpose on the treadmill.
Try putting your incline on 10 and the speed at 3.8 and just walk holding onto hand rail in front of you and alternate moving your arms like her.. its a burner for me. Already dropped 3kgs less than a month plus transitioning on a plant based diet for a better healthier lifestyle. Its been really good. Good change. I try to go 5x a week at least and im slowly adding more workouts to my routine too now that im getting fitter. Im 94.7kgs from 98kgs so not bad on a plant based diet lol never done that before but i feel good and look better lol

Actually, it may take her longer b/c she is so conditioned in such great shape that it takes a lot more to get her heart rate up. Someone more out of shape may sweat much faster.
I’ve added light weighted arm exercises to my treadmill routine in the past and it really made my treadmill experience more enjoyable. I’ve been neglecting cardio and will incorporate this in my routine. Thanks ❤
Yes! 🙌🔥 i tried it this morning at the gym. I normally already do incline walks after strength training. Today was solely cardio. Incline max at 15 w/ speed of 2.5. I upped the weight to 8 lb dumbbells instead. HIIT incl walk for 30 min and drank water throughout.. (so happy my dbls fit in the treadmill accessory holes to get my sips 🙂). I walked to the same music beat of this reel. I mostly do not sweat but i did today lots.. It was freaken fantastic i still had energy and jogged 15 min at 4 speed and 2.0 incline. And my weight training friends were like ok ok we see you doing something creative over there lol. I'm now going to do this every monday and thursday. I just use an elliptical on a high level of climb and resistance for 30 mins each workout day (about 4x per week) and lost 30 lbs. no need for the little weights. Just lift proper afterwards (or before) your cardio.

You have to use your whole body to keep balance. Make sure you stand up straight & tall, chest up & wide, tighten your entire core, try to keep your hips from wiggling , get your form controlled & then start your weight exercises. Start out slow. No shame in it, form & control first, you will get faster with consistency.
I missed the warm-up part and did the whole routine on max incline for 25 min, then gradually reduced incline while still using the weights until I hit 30. The straight arm flappers are brutal! This is a great treadmill routine. Looking forward to more 🎉🎉🎉
I need to try this. It takes a lot for me to break a sweat. Im pretty thin but have small annoying rolls that seem to hang on for dear life! I get really hot but by the time sweat actually breaks out on my body Im tired and ready to be done with my workout😂
This sounds perfect for me. Although I hate running or treadmills, because my esophageal hernia really complicates my breathing, I still love building my cardio up to the point where it takes me 15 minutes to even sweat. Running is the only way that regulates that minimum cardio resistance for me. Running 10 minutes before every HIIT helps me maintain some sort of cardio normalcy as opposed to my current lazy state.
I’ve been doing this for a few weeks now and love it! Makes the 30 minutes go by so fast. And it’s challenging! I do 6 incline at 3 speed. I’ve been using my ankle weights on my wrists so I could have my hands free.

I started doing this a few weeks ago. It’s great bcuz you do weight training and cardio at the same time. Also saves time and if you add a little dancing to it, time goes really fast.

Tried this with my partner & he loved it!!! Becoming part of our workouts. I did the 12/3/30 and incorporated the weights, he didn’t do an incline and got a great pump in!
❤ I started wrapping a resist band around TM to do my upper body and yday with incline between 3-9 I do leg lifts with 10 lb weight all my lunges , kick backs with resist band around my knees .. on TM now for min 40 mins def #gamechanger
This is exactly what I do with biking!! I use a exercise bike for 1hr after I do your video workouts or after. I use 10lb weights while I'm riding cuz well why not lol

My treadmill incline only goes up to 10. So I'll try this out with a few modifications. More treadmill workouts in the future will be nice 🙂

Sweat more than my hubs who went on a 4 mile run. Going to count that as a win because he is usually the one who sweats so this PUSHED me
