I ask for BJJ
I see BJJ
I happy
Damn a black belt.. better run for your life. I get terrorized by Purple belts
@@davideric8250 oh, ok
Looks like they are Fazen Shane out of fight tips !
LMFAOOOOOOOOO
“It’s a really dangerous one, it’s a really safe one”
It is dangerous when you can attack from there and it is safe when you can defend yourself from there.
Bro she is blonde
All you people who thinking about starting or just started/white belts. Focus on your fundamentals. Escaping side control, mount, kesa gatama, reverse kesa gatama escape, back mount, guard retention, opening the guard. Next would be Escaping armbars, chokes, keylocks, kimuras
Just said this because i see so many lil vids of beginners in public or people who mimicking stuff from mma or online vids and the technique is very bad. And everyone wants to do flashy stuff at first but defense should be key In the beginning.
Derek Shelby 100% agreed man. You gotta get use to the basics first. These techniques are amazing, but honestly a little too complicated for a beginner in my opinion.
I respect bjj with the gi but as an MMA enthusiast some of the moves are abit unrealistic to me like that move where you can choke someone with their gi and stuff the basic stuff is good stuff like the kimura and rear naked choke
Danny Mexia well the GI can help a lot since it mimics cloths that most people will be wearing. But lot of guys train for competition like myself, first year I already know the stuff to defend in the street but after that I’m training for other guys who know bjj also and how to defend, escape, sweep and submit people on my level.
honestly nothing in this video looked super advanced other then the fact that it's a blending of a few domintant positions. the farside armbar could be argued as advanced I suppose. @@dereknueveuno
Could we have a video on correct and effective takedown defence for both single legs and double legs and their many variants please. Keep up the good work!
Yes

VINCE : thank you shane
Lol
I am a blue belt and I thought I had side control locked down. 50 seconds into this video I learned something new lol. FOOL A TOOK
I need a teacher like this
you mean you need a chick sitting on your face?
Mayur Dutta 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@wodzefag8062 Precisely.
Mayur Dutta you need a new gym fool
Noah Brooks you need not be concerned about that mate
This is kind of like a holy grail of submissions from the mount crucifix position. I feel like there's a lot of good stuff here, namely what she said about it not being an exact position because you will be forced to respond to your partner/the part where she says to stay flexing your ankle around their hip w/ the faux knee on stomach so you don't lose your sidemount. I was taught and I use this position as a white belt and listen it's a pain in the ass doing all the work to get here and then losing your position to someone flip flopping underneath you so I think those were some really good (figh)tips from the expert to help with this. Understanding why you have to do those things and fluidly chaining submissions together is what high level jiu jitsu looks like to me because it causes more success. Any normal person would be asked to pay good money for this lesson so, well done guys.
Thanks so much this is a great video. I’m starting to get side control, so it’s nice to see some subs that go along with it
Side control is one of my favourite positions. Love getting the kimura or straight arm lock from this. Nice little tips too. Thanks!
Very nice, thanks for helping me clean up some basic but powerful side control technique. I haven't trained in grappling for years, broke out the old mats & dusted off my home-made wrestling dummy during the pandemic. Thanks for the great info, smooth skills you got!
The isolating the arms in side control is an awesome tip. I'll have to try it next week in class
this is so good. i always stuck for ideas to keep proper control in side control. great video
I haven't seen the guillotine from side control, I'm glad I was able to learn something new!!
Another fantastic breakdown!
I'm sure Shane is making Vince demonstrate with Erin so he doesn't get in trouble with his wife
😂😂😂😂😂
@@MoalWalax Babe..we were just doing jiujitsu ..babe come baaaack.
Did he get in trouble with his wife when he did his video with karate hottie? If so, I guess he learned his lesson. LOL
@Isuru Nanayakkara So? If Shane doesn't want to get in trouble with his wife, Vince's girlfriend has nothing to do with it. Shane will sacrifice whatever he needs to.
Lots of knowledge. Keep it up.
I love this channel, it has legitimate info on fighting styles, very accurate. She really knows what she's doing 💯 #TheRealDeal
Coach Erin and Vince are awesome. More BJJ please!!!!
Thank you guys , from Morocco ! Big fan ! Wooooow
Great details!
Spot on technique demonstration, thank you
I wish she was my coach. Very good explanation and demonstration. From the UK
That's pretty useful, the ground game is undeniable
this is exactly what I was looking for ty
Realy cool !! And i also enjoy seeing Vince get ragdoll
Yeah it's a nice change from him beating me up all the time 😆
Side control taken to a whole other level. Wow.
At beginner level competition, I have had the most success with the side control arm bar she showed, super effective
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 oh i loved that kimura
Great video thank u
Good tips.
Thank you
wow really helpful !!
Thanks for this i really needed some advice on which submissions i can do from side control
look up kata te jime which will likely be a Judo video but I never saw it get a name in a BJJ vid.
Now we need to know how to escape side control. For me that is one of the hardest things atm.
Great tips.... 💪.... Saludos de Argentina... 😋
I had this done to me in Wrestling practice a few days ago.
Im waiting for those two to explore some more advenced techniques..
She is amazing 💯
More of these BJJ videos please!!
Very good 👍
Yes!!! she's back 😁😁
what i really like to do from side control is an arm triangle. for example, if I am on his left side, I try to slip his left arm on the left side of my head, while keeping my left arm under his head. then, i gaple grip, jump over to his right side while maintaining the grip, and use my weight to push forward while squeezing, until I get the tap. I remember trying to use it in sparring the day our MMA coach showed us the technique, but failing because I did not use my weight efficiently after jumping over, but a few training sessions later, I managed to finish it on a very big guy. I will never forget that feeling.
The Homie Grip. Hmm. I like that terminology. I might use it from now on.
awesome
Massiv Information
I like how she’s very good at bjj and doesn’t have to prove anything, she never needs to even make him tap out
camra turns off vince ends in emergency room with 2 broken arms two legs broke and 205 other bones broken
The kimora or Americano Arm-bars would work wonders from the starting position.
Can you give us more from Shane fazan " like kickboxing combos " knockouts combos:)
I have no BJJ experience whatsoever, but watching this vid made me get a real understanding of these. She's good. 👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 kimura time babbbbbbbby
Shes badass respect
Aw man you gotta do more bjj videos
Make a video on fighting while going backwards!
wow my new guilty pressure, BJJ and HER....
Stop
The Americana was my bread and butter in side. Don't have to risk losing position trying to lift the body for a kimura/spin for the armbar.
I like all of it Side Control is my favorite thing basically
You should make a fighttips GI tbh it would be awesome
Lowwwwkeyy
or at least iron on patches
Id support
I'd probably buy one
Man she's great.
Do a video on Spence vs Garcia or broner vs manny and your prediction.
For the wrist lock, don't you lose balance and risk to be swept?
For the Kimura, in the transition doesn't he/she can grab something and make it harder fro me to finalize?
Since you grabbed the left arm can you do violine? could you show?
The kimura and armbar from side control are my bread and butter
the americans works for me just fine. People in street fights don't even know about it, they don't know what the hell youbare doing to their arms XD
Theres also a back take you can do from there
i died when she said the homie grip lool
The homie grip...I gotta remember that.
0:23 that's a big word
Advantageous?
This guy was in the rainbow reading class
Can you make no gi bjj basic submissions? I want to learn submissions that are easy and applicable to Street fighting self defense. Thanks and good video
Thanks for the suggestion, Danny -- I'll ask Erin about this 👌
@@fighttips thank you brother
You should almost never try and use BJJ in a street fight, and depending on the time of year & location, unless it's a beach or nudist colony, someone is almost always going to have clothing on!
@@davejohnson-yi2rk So if a bigger guy whos 10x stronger than me who can easily knock me out with one punch i shouldn't use bjj on him? you just want me to stand and bang with him and hope that god is on my side? id rather not take that chance and yeah i know what you mean but are you telling me that im going to choke someone with their own t shirt? what if the t shirt rips like most streets fights does happen when they start to wrestle what then choke him with his own jeans or should i take my top off and use that to choke him?
If he's 10x stronger than you on his feet, he'll be 10x stronger than you on the ground too. - - - I never said anything about choking someone with their T-shirt! That's crazy! You need to read before you respond to posts. I think you're someone who doesn't pay attention very well, believes too much that BJJ can be used for self defense, rather than the sport it is, , as well as being incredibly sarcastic without anything to back it up.
Guys im new the box. When i get punch i cant see anything. My eyes closing. I cant make eskiv. When my opponent hitting me im going to be blind man. What i supposed to do? Please help me any traning or what im not afraid buy it just happening. i just cant see.
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH
I think thatd work great if you could get it done in seconds but if someone like a (boxer) has one hand open and hits you he could still end it or find away to get on top.
What do you think about karate
I want Shane's answer
The thing with the thumb i used to do it a lot but my master told me that it was illegal
I believe that this is for some championship of BJJ unless for me since I work with realistic self defense, cause this look a bit more technical and much technical stuff on real situation can fuck with you.
Could the fightTIPS team go over wrist locks
Favorite MMA channel on youtube great work fightTIPS
Cool technique, but i always struggle with my balance..i'm 6"8 with long legs,so i almost always tip over the belly wen im putting my foot in his side wen my knee goes to his left side ribs...this might not be for me i guess
Quick question, if you apply bjj in a street fighter which is an uncontrolled environment, how can you defend yourself while you are grappling on the ground.my point is, there is always a possibility that there could be more than 1 attacker, once you're on the ground, they could easily stump your head or stab you.
So is bjj really applicable in real life or more on controlled environments like a tournament.
👌Very good question and the answer is: never resort to Judo/BJJ/wrestling or any submission based style on the streets unless you have to, use boxing/kickboxing or muay-thai boran for a self-defense purpose because it will help you to keep the fight on feet as long as possible, and also helps in cutting distance and prevents you from going in your assailant/opponent's striking range or a takedown attempt okay, I hope that answers.👍
4:10 - Spinning Arm Bar - 010920 3:59pm
Can you wrist lock in bjj while rolling I thought that was only for self defense
Yes you can
😍😍😍
Hi
wud up homie!
Oof that red stripe. Put in work.
This woman is a total badass
1:10 before she tried to lock his arms, is he able to punch the face with his left arm ? To try to escape
Take like a men I guess
Because this is in a gi, it’s more just BJJ than BJJ for MMA.
BJJ has a hierarchy of positions for a reason. She being on top side control can punch him harder and easily than he can from the inferior bottom side position. Bonus, she can dig her elbow into his face and cut him open like a watermelon. This video was BJJ focussed only. The thing is when you're in control, you can fuck people up, either by striking or submitting them. If not advance to a better position.
I guess he could be they would be relatively weak punches. Also you place yourself in a high risk low reward scenario where you could potentially get that left arm stuck, just to get weak arm punches in.
True, but since she is on top position, she can punch better and give some elbows. So it is not a good idea to punch when you are on bottom. You can throw nasty elbows from your back in rubberguard tho.
I know how to fight very well but if I fight In school they will suspend me so I have to don't get into the fight In school
This seems like a dangerous sport. I wonder how often people get injured during training. Great info!
More than I like, but less than you think
you must be new to this
Did it for four years and never got much more than jammed fingers.
you get your purple belt?
that is still an injury tho! he didn't say 'serious' injury but fingers and toes are by far the most common victims @@HavokStrifeX
Yeh "trapped"
Bjj❤️❤️
Miss Shane
Have you considered reorganizing your RUclips page by fight style like boxing, BJJ, MMA, Krav Maga, and workouts - warm-ups -stretches etc.? It would be much more easy to find specific videos for specific fight styles.
Easy win for the girl.
Damn that Kamura
camra turns off vince ends in emergency room with 2 broken arms two legs broke and 205 other bones broken
Nice , I didn't know the girl from shameless had a black belt in BJJ.
we need a video for condition programs
there are tons of those tho and if you mean for grappling then likely the best conditioning will come from grappling rounds
Submissions from side control: Step one: Stop being in side control.

Should have done no-gi.
4:04 sure he took a deep sniff
dawg💀
That black top gonna scratch the shit out of your skin, don’t really agree it’s that safe in the streets more painful and will become even more painful the amount of points on your joints
I feel like it easy to escape that first knee belly thing I learnt how to escape a full knee on belly but I don’t know
