I want to recommend the white magic sponges, the one that only use water. They work well on stain removal.
thank you very much for suggestion, I am going to try it xx
Thank you Anastasia! I have the same sink as you and it has been driving me nuts trying to clear the yellow staining but two Milton tablets and it is back to looking new. Thank you for sharing!
Well done I will be using your method as I have a plastic utility sink in my garage. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️!
I have a Blanco sink in Biscuit. I discovered that spraying the sink with Clorox Clean Up Cleaner with Bleach (blue spray bottle) wipe the sink with a paper towel to distribute the cleaner evenly. Repeat the process using the same wet paper towel you used to distribute the cleaner, wait a minute then rinse thoroughly. This should remove all the built up food stains. Use this method to easily maintain your sink. It will get even cleaner if you keep it maintained. This worked for me I hope it works for you
Thank you for your help in getting my sink clean. I have another issue which is scratches on the base of the sinks. I have read than fine grade sandpaper can be used for this. Does anyone have any opinion on using sandpaper. It is 20 years old but still looks good except for the scratches on the bottom of the sink. Thank you for your help. Kris
Searched for the baby sterilizing liquid $25 for a small bottle in US. The ingredients it turns out are just diluted bleach and table salt. So save your time and just dilute your own bleach.
WOW! Amazing! Wonder if that would work on a brownish/black sink without putting real harmful stains on it with the bleach??!!
Holy sh....I've been looking for the best cleaner for the sink for months, and I have it at my feet the whole time..thank you for sharing this
Good video. Thanks.
Anastasia, thank you so much for your tip. I subscribed to get more tips.
Thank you from India
But the reason that the sink absorbs stains is because the original cleaning products made it porous. Bleach wears the product away even more, but it sure makes it clean.
When you began the video, I felt like I hear myself talking. As we bought a white Franke Sirius Tectonite (composite) sink last years and we totally regret it. We have no children, so we thought it would be fun to have an all white glossy kitchen, with a white top and white sink.... oh oh. Thanks for your video.
I have kids and still went and brought a white sink with white kitchen 🤦♀️ even though the guy said i advice you not to buy white as it's hard to clean, but I was like no I want white. Gets cleaned well with the pink stuff and vanish oxi for whites. but I'm eager to replace it
Same here.. But with 4 kids and cooking 2 Times/day🤦♀️.
Hi. Can you only do this with white sinks? Ours is a grey composite sink, so I am worried it will take the colour out?
I had a white ceramic sink and it stained badly too. Decided my new one would be gray and it’s granite composite. I’m hoping the stains won’t be as bad, but it said not to use cleaners like bleach. I want to be able to sanitize it once in a while. Can’t find what to use. I see you used bleach. Wonder if it has to due with my gray color. Anyone know what to use? It’s a Kraus.
What is the name of the product you used? Thanks
I came here because my husband and I built almost 2 years ago. I regret that I decided to get the white (blanco) granite sink. It is a nightmare to keep clean. It stains so bad, and I wonder if it was properly sealed. Bleach is harsh chemical. Hoping to find alternative, but have not tried the magic eraser sponges yet. I wonder if you could sand and reseal?
Bleach will dissolve the surface and the damage cannot be repaired.
Your son is soooo cutee😩😩😍😍😍 thankyou❤️
Nice 👍
I do pretty much the same thing with my horrible Astralux kitchen sink, which actually looks identical to your sink. I first scrub the sink lightly with Tesco cream cleaner. This is the only product I have found that works best. Then I fill the sink with very hot water, even topping it up with a kettle of boiling water. Then I use two scoops of Oxy stain remover powder. I usually use the Astonish brand, but I'm sure other brands of Oxy stain remover would work as well. However, I wait longer than five minutes. I let the sink soak OVERNIGHT! In the morning the sink is spotless after a quick rinse with cold water.
This was excellent advice, thank you.
Dear Lady...you're 100% correct about this. I just tried bleach after everything else failed and it worked like a charm. Now, how do I send you a dozen roses?
I'm glad it worked ☺️
I cannot believe this. Bleach DISSOLVES acrylic. It's the ONE THING YOU NEVER USE.
@@philmerlot5090 Granite composite sinks are not made out of acrylic. They're made from crushed stone and resin. From the amount of time breach is on, it wouldn't dissolve anything but the dirt.
@@hugostiglitz2388 They are made of 80% granite powder and and 20% ACRYLIC resin. This WILL be dissolved by bleach. It may happen quickly or it may happen slowly according to the concentration. The manufacturers SAY DON'T USE BLEACH.
You need more subscribers
So more people can destroy their composite sink with bleach?????
Excellent idea. Will try this. Thank you

Out of the box my Kraus granite composite sink was lighter than expected and it somewhat resembled plastic. It reminded me a little bit of a plastic janitorial sink for a garage. It also wasn't smooth, it had a texture to it. Is this normal?
We have had a Swanstone granite composite sink for at least 10 years. Ours doesn't resemble plastic and I don't believe it's really lightweight but it does have texture (not smooth) to it. To remove tough stains I soak it with a 50/50 bleach/water solution after cleaning. This really gets rid of the stains.
Yes, I think so. My Astralux sink isn't smooth either. In my previous house I had a stainless steel sink, which was so easy to clean. Later, I installed a ceramic sink from Ikea and that was easy to clean, too.
@@ravencoho You're an i d i o t. Bleach dissolves the acrylic in the composite. You should shut up before you get sued.
It's not smooth cause it's a granite composite which is a little rough. How does your sink look? Does it get stained? Is it easy to clean? I have hard water & the black one which leaves the white mineral spots all over it. I'm thinking of replacing it with the white one.
Yes same, should have returned it before we put the counter on top of it. Totally regret it...
What is the “baby sterilizing liquid” that you mentioned in the description?
Milton
Your son is so adorable.
Hi what chemical did you put on it please thanks
She put bleach in it because she's stupid and will soon have a completely ruined sink.
hai sister nice tip your son is soooooo cute
Ok thank you i just baught this sink 😂
good luck, hun 😄
It's bought dear
I cant fill out with water, is there a plug or something
You can buy a plug at most hardware stores, even Walmart, Amazon.
Mine is really yellow and doesn't come away with scrubbing. Do I still follow the same steps?
We have a Swanstone composite granite sink that is still yellow/stained after scrubbing with Bar Keepers. For those tough stains/yellowing, soak the sink in a 50/50 solution of bleach/water for an hour. It should do the trick. Worked for us. :)
@@ravencoho Jesus Christ MAN!!!!!!! Bleach dissolves the acrylic and totally ruins it.
This type of sink is high maintenance? How many years before the stain appear? Im planning to buy this sink. Can you recommend this?
I don't recommend it. I'll never do it again.
Please don't buy it.....I have this sink and all I'm doing is always cleaning it. I was eager to get white and didn't listen to anyone at the time....big regret!
Recommend? No! No! NO! These are horrible sinks to keep clean. When I moved into my new build house and the kitchen was pristine I thought how classy the sink looked. Now I loathe it. However, I discovered the same method of cleaning as shown in this video, so now I can live with the sink. I would far rather have stainless steel or ceramic, though.
Use bleach like she did and it will be utterly ruined in five minutes.
We have one too. Super expensive and noticed staining right away. Magic eraser was the only thing to get rid of the stains. Then after a year of those...the finish was completely gone and even a magic eraser cant bring it back to life. I have to use bleach to clean it, if I want it white. It stains with red sauce, tea, pots and pans scratch it, cups chip it. Would NOT recommend to anyone.
Auf deutsch bitte!!
this video just showed that you don't clean your sink regularly. The indicator is the dirt that has accumulated next to the faucet. You have quite a good brand of sinks, so to neglect and disparage the brand for the sake of appearance is inappropriate. Greetings
