  • This is a detailed step by step guide on how to make Greek yogurt at home using a dry bacteria culture. I gave the recipe for the smallest unit and how you can multiply it for larger yoghurt production.
    Your continuous support to this channel is seen and highly appreciated. God bless you all
    The bacteria culture brand I used is called yogourmet….
    Feel free to ask questions in the comments and I will take my time to respond individually. It’s my dream to see you empowered in the business world.
    Yoghurt business is the easiest business I have done so far and it’s highly profitable too.
    Making yogurt at home is as easy as ABC and the best time to make it is at night. This is because you don’t need to monitor it, nobody will accidentally disturb it and you wake up to see a well fermented yogurt sitting pretty in your kitchen.

    It’s such a detailed video and it’s very helpful, and I’m so grateful to come across this video.

    You use the whole sachet of dry starter culture for this recipe given, but said this same starter culture can also make up to 500L of milk.
    How so, please?
    Is it the same one sachet I use for 2 cups of milk I’d use for 500L of milk too?
    Thank you.

    My first question is where can i get the food thermometer,and hope its not expensive
    My second question is what is the name of the dry culture u used;
    My third question is greek yoghurt consumes more milk than the normal yoghurt
    What is the measurement for the normal yoghurt

    • @akbillions
      @akbillions  Год назад +5

      Thank you for your kind words 😘
      1. You can get it where they sell baking items. It should be around 3-5k now, I’m not certain.
      2. Yogourmet
      3. Milk measurement is same for both drinking yoghurt and Greek. The difference is in volume of water. Drinking yogurt needs more water

    Hi Aki, please I need help. I just blended my strained greek yogurt and it some how came out watery

    • @akbillions
      @akbillions  11 месяцев назад +2

      It’s because you didn’t strain it enough. All the same you can still re-strain or leave it as it is in the fridge and it will thicken a bit.

    Thank you so much for this recipe. I'm a new subscriber. Please I have some questions. 1. Can one sachet of the 3grams yoghurt culture ferment 5 litres or even more of milk or would I need more sachets for that amount and more? 2. Can one use instant filled (not skimmed) milk powder in place of full cream and get same results, as the former is generally cheaper. God bless you

    • @akbillions
      @akbillions  Год назад +4

      So good to have you here darling ❤️
      1. Yes it can ferment 5L. Anything above this pls add another sachet.
      2. Yes its perfect for business to minimize cost and maximize profit. I don’t use full cream for my business and the taste and texture is awesome too

      Please, another question. Can I keep the yoghurt in the fridge while straining the whey out so that it doesn't keep fermenting or leaving it at room temp for an hour while straining wouldn't make it more tangier. Thank you

    • @akbillions
      @akbillions  Год назад +3

      @@phi6744 you can strain this outside the fridge. It’s not so tangy but really sweet even without adding sugar.
