    India already number one in Asia and Europe many years ago.
    India announced that his has silicon valley 40 years ago in 1984 and Modi announced that India going to build next silicon valley in 2024. No one in Asia(Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China) and Europe has officially announced they have silicon valley besides US. But India has two silicon valleys.
    India officially announced that Made in India campaign in 2014, China targets to achieve Made in China in 2025. You see India is ahead of China in Manufacturing 11 years.
    Space technology has over taking US, currently India is the first and only one able to land on the other side of the moon.
    India economy also super power. In Europe every country has to use ruble to buy oil from Russia, only India can use rupee to buy. India rupee is more powerful than Euro dollar and USD.
    I salute you India!

    You need to do better research.
    Service sector does not contribute 10% to the GDP, but 50%. (You probably meant service exports)
    Manufacturing is picking pace (10%+ growth this financial year), so it's not just "marketing".

    • @InsightsByApoorv
      @InsightsByApoorv  5 месяцев назад

      No one is saying its “just” marketing. But yes, it has fell short of its targets.

    Exactly what I;ve been stating for long. The services exports are as much at the top as it can be. However, very few of the 140 crore is employed in that sector. Just imagine the potential if all 140 crore were in it. It will be unimaginable. I do not think that many products and services could even exist, so we need new ones to diversify more and the best way to do it is to improve education in schools and colleges, make inventing and innovating easy and inspiring and strengthen patent laws, filing and granting applications so that new companies can get a strong footing to grow in the initial years.
    I am working in research in the Wireless Communications domain at my former institute where we are developing hardware modules for communication in mines and collaborating with a startup on that. Also, I am developing India's first indigenous DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) with new audio plugins as well as a software for electrical circuit simulations independently. These activities need to be encouraged more among the youth of our nation.

      @bharani_tidadin This is research. Contact your professors at your institute from where you graduated and ask them to include you in a research project. You might need to visit back to your institute for this work. You can apply to government institutes as well. They release applications frequently, for candidates. Check their websites.

    India was 10th largest now 5th largest. India was probably 100th or lower in 1950. Why 1950 because we got a legal status our constitution. Never mind make it 1947. So Modi thinks he achieved a lot from 2014???

    • @InsightsByApoorv
      @InsightsByApoorv  6 месяцев назад +3

      This video is not particularly about did Modi achieved sufficient success for India or Not! Its subjective and can be debated - there are some obvious successes and some glaring failures. This video is mostly about giving a perspective into service sector and how big it is and how important it is. It has played a very important role in India’s success till dare and will continue to play even more important role in the future.

      Per capita income is $2k and will take another 100 years to match west not considering climate change and other existential threats.. so probably not gonna happen in ur life time🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    • @InsightsByApoorv
      @InsightsByApoorv  6 месяцев назад +5

      Per capita income is 2K but its distribution is vastly different in cities vs rural areas.
      Moreover, adjusted for PPP, our per capita income is ~10K (we can purchase the same amount of goods with 2000 USD that a US citizen needs to spend 10,000 USD)
      I do agree with you that we have a long way to go; what i dont agree here is that it will take 100 years.

      AI will change the nature of these jobs in some ways. It will eliminate some jobs and create some new ones. That is what has happened historically with every other revolutionary technology.

Investing in manufacturing is very much needed for a populous country like India
