The blame for the mismanagement lies 95% on the head of Shri Harvard Cauliflower Chidambaram and 5% on Shri Manmohan Singh, and of course, an additional 100% on the rajamata super PM. Incidentally, Shri Chidambaram seems to be quieter on the gyani page of Indian Express, and Karti Chidambaram is making friendly noises toward the BJP - after the release of the white paper.
The 50+ page document is informative, yet difficult to comprehend. Thank you so much for simplifying it. A similar video on black paper would enable a fair comparison between the 10 years of UPA-rule from 2004 to 2014 and the 10 years of NDA rule from 2014 to 2024.
I don't know how we come to 5.8% inflation!!! Cost of Milk has increased from 44rs to 56rs per litre within 1 year. Cost of dals have increased nearly 8-10% from past year. Every year the vegetables used to cost less on winters. This time, vegetables in winters didnt reduce a lot. Food Oil had increased nearly 12-15% from last year. And let's not talk about petrol and diesel. I am very skeptical about how they came with 5.8% number.
They have doubled the taxes and broken them down to make it difficult to realise that we pay more taxes now . The inflation is low since they don't take into account the taxes . If you include taxes . Upa is definitely the Ally to look for but again without taxes upa failed on inflation

Sorry for lengthy suggestion:- Make in detail video on North South divide over tax devolution issue raised by South Indian state governments particularly Karnataka government. Please cover below topics *)Pros and cons over Finance commission tax devolution (horizontal) *)Revenue Deficit Grants to States *) SDRF and NDRF funds *)cess and surcharge spending (where and why not to state governments) *) Population Vs Demographic performance criteria *)What can state governments (good performing )propose in front of 16th Finance commission? Suggestion:- *) Even though Bihar and other poor states receiving higher revenue from Central government in terms of tax devolution and grants, they are not performing well. Contd *) How can they made accountable by monitoring their spending ?and if not spent wisely thier money should be forfeited and spend directly through new central government projects. One important suggestion:- *)Whether income distance (tax devolution -41%)can be altered by taking average gsdp of top 10 or top 5 (debatable - just for example) fast growing states as base line rather considering gsdp of top performing state. Thereby top performing states can contribute less compared before without compromising their growth. Example:- Mah has 38lakh crore gsdp TN has 28lakh crore gsdp In 5th place UP has 24 lakh crore gsdp In 10th place MP has 12lakh crore gsdp Rather calculating income distance using Maharashtra's 38lakh gsdp You can take top 5 average as ~27lakh crore gsdp Or you can take top 10 average as ~20lakh crore gsdp. Thats from my side I am expecting you to bridge this gap of north South divide with your mind opening video
Also Include the Freight Policy post Independence which encouraged Indian companies with North Indian Owners and Foreign MNCs to open their offices and manufacturing plants in south states which helped multiple south states especially states like Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Also include the amount of raw materials extorted from South states vs the states like Odisha, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Bihar by central govt. of which the locals of these states are not getting any value nor jobs. And how this hyper statehood mindset is pulling down the country as whole because whenever govt will start some project in some state other states will bark as they are not provided with those oppurtunities
Do you know that half of all gst belongs to state government? In most cases that is half of 18% which is a huge amount. In addition to that each state has various additional tax revenue which the Centra government doesn't get. Take all kinds of tax collection of both centre and state and you will notice thay state government collects more in taxes than central government from their own states. Central govt is only free to allocate their own revenue and they are free to allocate it to states that are backwards, so that the whole india gets developed. Additionally central government also have very very huge military expenses which is very very important or else we will get invaded and destroyed easily.
Am following you from long time and this case study motivated me to leave a comment and also you explained capital expenditure and revenue expenditure in such a simplified way and a also am writing and waiting to have a case study on *IBC* . THANK YOU

This is what we get when we choose visionary leaders like Vajpayee and Modi unlike the sycophantic leaders like Manmohan to run a country. Although Manmohan Singh was a good finance minister but in the capacity of PM he failed terribly due to his sycophancy to his dynastic masters.

As a lawyer, I am amazed by the reforms being made (or at least an attempt) by the present govt. It shows their intention to do something rather than "jaisa chal raha hai vaisa chalne do" attitude.
BNS 2023 instead of IPC 1860, BNSS 2023 instead of CrPC 1973, BSA 2023 instead of IEA 1872. 4 Labour Codes 2020 (Code on Wages/Social Security/Occupation, Safety & Health/Industrial Relations) 2 Farm Act (which was very much needed, though)
Even though we have to study all these new laws, I am happy that someone is trying to bring out Bharat from archaic and redundant laws

Make video on black paper. It is important to view the argument from both sides. The white paper feels like a one way streak. Also video on IBC please
The infra and banks problem solution wasn't one way though u can say about scams
📌 Congress has laid a strong foundation for the Indian economy and social fabric so that BJP's misguided policies and extreme religious fanaticism do not do much harm to the people and the economy.

I strongly feel that you should make a detailed Economy Masterclass course. It should be non-compromising in terms of content (just like your RUclips videos are) disregarding any time limit if necessary. Not only there is an immense hunger in people to understand practically how does an economy work but also it's a necessity so that people make an educated judgement of the performance of government, banks, countries, etc.
Only issue is, once a video crosses 20 mins, the TS team thinks that the study is too loooong. And they cut it short.

Thank you so much Ganesh Prasad ji for interpreting the White Paper for us. We would also like to know about the 'Black Paper' and IBC. As you must have already heard from us zillion times, you have been doing a Wonderful Job with the Think School channel. I wish you to get stronger and stronger and continue with this great service you've been doing to the country (in a way). Thank you very much.

Thank you for this in depth view of this white paper and props to you for correcting yourself with the farm loan waivers. Much love ❤
Love how much you simplify these concepts for us. Would like to know more about IBC & Black paper as well.
After viewing numerous videos without subscribing to your channel, I am now convinced of its value and have subscribed it.❤

I'll get hate for saying this but this is the problem of Indian politics, there's no room for improvement and hold accountable for their actions when things go south. It is always "BJP is doing better than Congress... Sorry for lengthy suggestion:-
Make in detail video on North South divide over tax devolution issue raised by South Indian state governments particularly Karnataka government.
Please cover below topics
*)Pros and cons over Finance commission tax devolution (horizontal)
*)Revenue Deficit Grants to States
*) SDRF and NDRF funds
*)cess and surcharge spending (where and why not to state governments)
*) Population Vs Demographic performance criteria
*)What can state governments (good performing )propose in front of 16th Finance commission?
Suggestion:-
*) Even though Bihar and other poor states receiving higher revenue from Central government in terms of tax devolution and grants, they are not performing well.
Contd
*) How can they made accountable by monitoring their spending ?and if not spent wisely thier money should be forfeited and spend directly through new central government projects.
One important suggestion:-
*)Whether income distance (tax devolution -41%)can be altered by taking average gsdp of top 10 or top 5 (debatable - just for example) fast growing states as base line rather considering gsdp of top performing state.
Thereby top performing states can contribute less compared before without compromising their growth.
Example:-
Mah has 38lakh crore gsdp
TN has 28lakh crore gsdp
In 5th place UP has 24 lakh crore gsdp
In 10th place MP has 12lakh crore gsdp
Rather calculating income distance using Maharashtra's 38lakh gsdp
You can take top 5 average as ~27lakh crore gsdp
Or you can take top 10 average as ~20lakh crore gsdp.
Thats from my side
I am expecting you to bridge this gap of north South divide with your mind opening video
Include Historical and Geographical facts too. Let's not be biased!
THANK YOU
