VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
Hi everybody,
Louis Vuitton is one of the most iconic luxury brands in the world!! And while most Think of louis Vuitton as just another overrated brand that sells bags for 2 lakhs rs, what we dont realize is that Louis Vuitton is a luxury brand that was started by a homeless boy and it has sustained for 200 years, 1 franco-prussian war, 15 revolutions, 2 world wars and 18 recessions including the great depression!! And While most people think of Louis vuitton bags to be the liability of the rich, you would be shocked to know that, if you invested in this louis vuitton bag in 2007 for 625 dollars or 25,000Rs, you would have got more returns than both gold and the S&P index!! You don't believe me look at this chart,
From 2007 to 2024, While the price of gold shot by 172%, S&P went up by 167% where as the price of this bag has shot up by 214%
And LVMH today is so big and so powerful it is more valuable than Gucci Prada Hermes and its next 5 competitors combined!!!
And this begs the question?
How did a homeless boy go on to build the biggest luxury brand in the world?
Why were Louis vuitton bags considered to be super special during the 19th century?
And what are the business lessons that we need to learn from the rise of Louis Vuitton?

Correction : 1:41 its not 2007-2024 but 2007-2022. Sorry for the mistake guys ❤
how do anyone knows a startup idea is good or not?
@@chillalenaveen3367 No one knows other than future itself. But if the idea is genuinely stupid and unviable, then that's a bad idea.
@@chillalenaveen3367nobody knows it beforehand but u can make videos afterwards 😂
😊😊😅
Very good video
Vote for Berneard arnault case study❤
Jhaatu woh aadmi pe kya case study karoge?! Uske biggest thing pe yehi toh case study hain!!
vuitton family sons are probably the only ones who always managed to live upto their father's expectations and carried the legacy forward.
Also Rothschilds 😀
@@shritejkzwhat ? For profiting from war ?
Ambani also did a very good job
@@kalakala6973 they are still on the first set of sons and even then one of the two failed.
i guess same for all popular business families
11:13 Bro nowadays iPhone itself not getting better every year 😂😂
Following 3% rule unfortunately 😥
bro it is sarcasm
I always ignorantly assumed that these bags were just some sort of showpieces. I had no idea their bags were so functional. Great analysis. Eye opening.
Those functional bags are not available anymore.
thing is its usually not so available to the public infact he forgot to mention how offbranded items get sold off more frequently than the real thing business insider talks about it.
@@jumbojumbo6866 so what does one do if they need to but these items?
@@tarushinarang651 well since majority of countries are 3rd world or second world countries such brands like gucci or balenciaga or LX cant reach to so most off branded items reach to this places including my country tho its a 1st world but still majority of us cant afford so we just buy off brands to fit the narrative that we can afford something at least which is why those luxury brands must worry about.
This proves if you are honest, dedicated to your work, and love your work with passion, people reward you for your work/art/skills.❤
It can happen only outside India. In India only uneducated and scammer can become billionaires or even can create a brand.
The company did ntg but shady stuff.
@@prajotjadhav4491 that is if the world and people around you recognise it and choose to appreciate it.
Companies today (and probably all companies in history) only want to exploit you out for their own profits and will fill their lockers and hike their CXO salaries but give nothing to employees
I got a *gtdupe* ,Korean made, Jimmy Choo. It is 20 years old and still looks great.

Finally after 2 years of requesting , you made the video on Bernard Arnault the legend 😀🙏 . Thanks bhau
🙏🙏
Legend ???
@@bhaveshchoudhary2 yeah, he indeed was a legend
Fun fact: LV does more innovation in a year than Apple.
Funfact : Apple doesn't make any innovation now a days. It simply copy features from android mobiles and calls it innovation
No
well apple doesn't even innovate
This video isn't just a case study; it's also about art and is inspirational too.
Absolutely absolutely brilliant!!! Think School keeps on breaking their own records and is a competition to no one but itself. It keeps on getting better by the day! Cheers to more such case studies!
One of the best case study ever produced in Think School an astonishing story of LVMH the videos are getting better and better.
We definitely want a video on Mr:-Bernard Arnault case study
I am in my early 60s and retired at 53. Lots of people gave me pushback because they had difficulty grasping the concept of not working if you don’t have to. I looked at my life as stages. I earned everything I have now through a lot of hard work, but I owe it to myself to “stop and smell the roses” in my final stage of life. In my case I left the country after I retired and live in Latin America. It allowed me to get away from all the negative things happening in America while appreciating my new environment. I have yet to meet anyone who regrets retirement.
This is the best case study ever. I would love a full-length documentary on Bernard Arnault. Please make one as soon as possible, Think School.
The most awaited video man, thank you ❤. Your channel is really useful for MBA grads.
Just like: Think School delivers simple business case studies in a great manner ❤

11:12 Iphone and innovation....lol.
Their latest innovation is users being able to organise app icons.
Absolutely Stunning, I had goosebumps by just how a great observer and a creative person can build something so out of the box, yet a simple mundane thing. Such great representation ❤️
Thank God for business case studies!!Thank you so much
excellent video bhai...you always surprise with the quality of your content...great work thanks
Ganesh Sir, your work is truly a form of art. Whenever I see that you've uploaded a new video, it's the best way for me to learn, and it's always interesting. I'm lucky to have discovered such a gem at the right time, as your presence on RUclips is a blessing.

Louis Vuitton became immortal with his product❤
Thank you so much for nice case study
Very informative videos. Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great job! Keep up the good work.
Eagerly waiting for next part of this video
Thank you for giving us such a great information about business, only you are the person who are motivated me every seconds ❤
An excellent case of innovation plus marketing . I believe even in India , the slums.of Dharavi based in Mumbai manufactures creative and luxury bags for great brands as outsourcing just like how Mont Blanc charges a high premium for its watches, bags although they are manufactured in factories in China for very competitive prices as low as us dollars 100 to 150 per piece and are sold for us dollars 1000 at their boutique charging a high premium for products with very less value driven proposition. High end luxury shopping just creates a society of a few privileged people who could have rather channelized their resources to help the needy in our society. 😊
Superb video, love such foreign case studies. Hope we get to see Bernard Arnault's case study. Superb research as always.
Also, amazing background music! ❤️🧿
Amazing work in researching
Do not wait for 1 lakh likes, please make the video.
Again a great case study, learned a lot , Thank you!

Brilliant Case Study! And even better breakdown in the conclusion. Greatness demands courage, not just dedication. The one thing that made Vuittons so successful was their foresight. They knew where the market was heading to and accordingly prepared for it. Absolute Legends!
Thanks Ganesh for the lovely piece of video. It was so much informative n inspiring as well

I love video editing.. too smooth with confident voice
LV stocks skyrocketed after your video..! You have mastered story telling.
Such an informative video 😍😍
Thank you for the great work
This reminds me of Mokobara, their wheels are silent and sturdy, the zips are smoothest. Small innovation but great experience to customers
U have that audacity to build great service. Thanks❤❤
For a moment i thought that . Wasn't there any initial worker of the brand who created his own brand differently by inspiration of thought process of owner 🤔
Thank you so much for this video. It’s a nice case study of the legendary brand “ LV”. It’s evident that no product can become big brand overnight. It requires tremendous detailing, customisation, innovation, trendiness, and persistence.
Great work @thinkschool
Thank you so much for this information brother ❤❤
Wow! Blown away by this case study! I mean, he climbed the ladder because of his innovation instead of useless hype like some brands get it today.
Wonderful case study. Also, please do a Bernard Arnault case study. I'm interested in how he got to the top with just luxury brands acquisitions.
Thanks a lot , just told this case stry in my communication class tdy and yeah it was fun 😊
Sir, please make the documentary that you mentioned earlier even numbers don't meet. Please team ☺️🙏
Man please the case study….. beg you for that 🙏
Very pertinent video.
Work on skill than degree ❤ lesson learnt
Please make the video on Barnault Arnold.

Your videos are superb
Waiting for the documentary🎉
Brilliant bro!
Make a case study on Rimowa as well
Please make a case study on bernard arnaul. Would love to study if even it's of 1 hour
Thanks bro..... Great and Inspiring.....
This is so interesting. I literally felt like knowing more, like a timeline on how they reached here. Really extraordinary!
We want the documentary but with currently under 20K likes, it looks like I have to wait some more months
The videos get better and better
One main distinct or differentiating factor for LV from other successful businesses of the past is that the subsequent generations after LV 1 has continuously worked really hard without becoming complacent with the amount of money and power they had to build the brand loyalty among the rich and powerful and the aspiration class even more stronger
Bro your English speaking skill is incredible.. I want to become a speaker like you so how I can I do it
Who could have guessed that a personal luxury good would be a better investment than gold or securities!!?? Flabbergasted and bewildered at the same time!
This one felt extra special, maybe because it was very simple and inspiring
Very intresting❤❤
Awesome sir 👍
HEY kislux !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Thank you
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
thank you so much brother for making this type of amazing videos.
Thank you for your lots of good efforts.
Such a great inspirational story 👏👏
Excellent one💯
Thanks for the research, would love to see the full story from few stores to present.
Lesson learned :-
1. Louis Vuitton left home, establish Workshop, Viceroy and Queens created Customer relationship with Louis bags.
2. Finding Gap and loopholes in market, He launch Streamer Trunk.
3. Thinking deep about product Discrepancy and Opportunity.
thank you for
thanku for such great content
22:47 all the brands you've mentioned even though might have started with great products, their prevalence today seems more due to their brand value
Make documentary on bernalt arnault
One of the best case studies I have ever seen till now
Now it's time to invest in another spectacular case study by think school ....
