(4K) GR Corolla -

Finally back at Thunderhill West. My main goal today was getting used to new CAE-Racing Ultra shifter that I recently installed and fine-tuning it to my likings (hence some unnecessary gear changes in this video). My group was so packed I was never able to get a clean lap and this was the closest to one but still lost a few tenth of a sec at T2 and T3 (Dorito apex had standing water all day). Garmin catalyst showed optimal lap time of 1:27 so I'm hoping to go a few seconds faster next time.
Overall, the car felt great and sounded great with MBRP exhaust. Next, I need a bucket seat since the stock seat doesn't really do much on a track and my body was moving around so much.

No external mic. It's just a good old Gopro 10 in a media mod mounted close to my exhaust.

I assume with those mods, you eventually overheated the ITCC? Hows the car in FWD mode, is it still enjoyable? Keep it up, always enjoy your videos!

No overheating issues at this event or the last one at Laguna Seca. However, it was a very cool day. Temps were in the 50s in the morning and even in the third session the temp only got up to 68~70 degrees (which was my last session). My exhaust is heat wrapped but I thought it was going to overheat since MBRP exhaust sits closer to ITCC/diff and also, I'm running much wider tires now.

alright great! One last question, what mount did you buy for your gopro inside the car? On my EN I used the sunroof but for the GRC I can't :D @@elantran
