Today we finish up the removal of all the rust from Doofa Now and then get to working on replacements for some of the banged up doors and hanging panels. Finishing up with something that looks pretty damn sweet!

Great episode!!
Thanks David 👍
That old green hood, looks great. The door is shaping up, can't wait to see the final product!!
Yep - really impressed with that hood, the old black stuff came off so easy I don't understand why it was there to begin with. Also. had the sanding wheels show up today so I can start trying out the metal finishing - that'll be the make/break for this one
Nice episode Cam. Time is a b-atch. I was down in the shop working on fitting some drawers on a tool chest and it took about an hour - only three more to go! Not to mention you are filming and giving us the fruits of your labor by taking us along. Thank you for persisting when you could be doing something else. Subscribe.
Thanks Bob - it's starting to come together this week - very excited to see what the end game will look like on this one - i still can't decide!
How good!!
Thanks!
Buys new compressor! Uses rattle can! Doofa now!
Its the spirit!
why are you using etch and not a 2k epoxy? *Ah think we are talking same thing just got to 5m
would be curious on this also? not a criticism.
Using 2k etch as the acid in it should be better for any minor rust I have still left over. Epoxy is slightly different as it doesn't contain acid but still a great option for bare metal.
👍👍🍺🍺
Cheers!
