I have changed the shock absorbers on my seat leon st 2019,the originals looked the same as this, from sachs. On top of the new shocks ,on the piston there was not a steel ring to prevent that it goes through the aluminium mount,so i re used the old one, hope that i won't get in trouble.
Thanks for watching anyway really appreciate it. I have been doing it like that for past 25 years its been ok so far. But yes having the right tool will make your life easier

Thanks for watching really appreciate it
Customer bought the parts but fir labour I would say £40 a side
Nice info! Any torque specs available by any chance?
Just do them in tight that's all for these I never torque them up.
What size is the nut holding the top of the shock to the mount? Thanks
I need to know the size also, can anyone reply?
16 mm
Did the shock had a bump stop installed also?I didn't see one
Yes it did.
Do the springs normally get replaced too?
You don't have to if they are ok. Thanks for watching really appreciate it
Not professional! You don’t have removal tool for shock and tightening bolts with a high torque air gun…
