I guess new bolts and nuts they are one time use…nice job

What type and name brand suspension was pulled out? Looks like the owner preferred the factory VW suspension. Thanks for the video I am thinking about having Eibach pro springs installed on a 09 CC and was wondering why the install for them cost so much. Lot of work there.
Next time just remove the one bolt holding the control arm on in the rear. No need to mess with those annoying spring perches then. Also on the fronts just remove the bottom 3 control arm bolts and pull the control arm down. Then you can just remove the strut in the car by knocking down on the spindle. Saves you time from removing the brakes, axle and tie rod. Although on the CC you may have to remove the axle anyway. I'm not sure as I've only done similar models (MKV/MK6/MK7 GTI/GLI and Golf).
@@GremcoGarage i tried it last week, 3 hours for each side but i replaced new shocks so it took more time to press the coils and replace the upper bushings, and it was my first time as a non mechanic 😜
Hi. I have kyb excel g shocks in my mk6 golf and i feel every bump on the road and when i drive on cracked asphalt the car vibrates alot. I wanted to buy bilstein b4 shocks can they make a difference?
@@GremcoGarage well..a B7 Passat front and rear struts and springs and rear brake pads and disc.. you know very well that the brake caliper carrier bolts are a nightmare to loosen...especially this car is a 4Motion...😍😍
What a nice set of tools you have!
Question: do you have that air gun set to a specific torque? Should I be torquing everything down?
Any suggestions from where to by good quality front suspension kit assembly for the CC 2013? Thanks
ECS Tuning is where I bought the stuff for my CC 2014 VR6 4motion

If the rear shock mount is bad what happens? Might you hear a slight knocking?
God that’s 3 times the parts as my Honda use to have. I’ll need a whole day for my first time lol
Why did you remove the brakes?
So fast, nice work 😮
Appreciate the comment. How long does it take you to put in your shocks?

So much unnecessary work. These guys must be new at this. I know not to take my car there for work.
Exactly lol
The car was up so having dangling parts wouldn’t be a smart thing
