Hey You do know about the proper and faster bleed procedure don’t you. Your electric water pump will remove all air from your system when topping off or refilling the entire coolant system.. All you do is 1. Place key in position 1 where all dash lights including your idrive all illuminate but do not start the engine, 2. Turn your climate control all the up to your hottest setting (if you have dual climate control turn up both temps for each sides all the way up, 3. Set you fan speed for climate control to your lowest setting (setting 1) and turn your wheel for hot or cold between your dash vents to hot, 4. Turn on your headlight low beam to keep things awake while you run this procedure) and 5. Push your gas pedal all the way to the floor (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NOT STARTED THE ENGINE DO NOT PUSH YOUR GAS PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING THIS WOULD NOT BE GOOD AT ALL!!!!) while holding your gas pedal to the floor **count to 12.. twelve seconds should be enough to activate the electric water pump and begin the bleed procedure. This procedure will run for 12 minutes. Leave cap off your radiator overflow tank and open your bleeder screw just slightly you will see air bubbles escaping, your coolant level at the overflow tank Go down as this procedure goes just keep filling up the coolant until you see the coolant come out of the blender screw steadily without any air bubbles. This procedure is alot quicker then doing it rotor the assistance of the electronic water pump running the bleeding procedure.
Where did your red float sit, above the neck or at the neck of the reservoir
