Oh man!!! I just was there last week! I travelled from Singapore to London then to Edinburgh then to London and Paris and now in Strasbourg. I’m going back to Singapore next Tuesday.
@@AlwaysBeChanging i did a uk and ireland tour before in 2018 and i LOVED IT so much i decided to come back! its so heavenly calm, the great escape from london the hustle and bustle! and rich in history and culture
@ thank you for checking it out and sharing! A bunch of us did the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky and Tennessee in 2022, and I was in heaven 😂 I’ve also done both a scotch and sake tasting in Hokkaido. But I cannot wait to go to Scotland!
So interested in your research of how to pronounce ‘Edinburgh’, down in the south of the UK we tend to pronounce it with the ‘h’ on the end. When you hear it back it sounds like we are adding a silent ‘u’ as well. That Italian restaurant looked lovely as well. 👍
We love trying to figure out the right way to pronounce places but then you add accents and speech habits, it's hard to track down the origins. But we love to try :)
