WHO_TEE_WHO I literally just ordered my savage 110 bs stealth. Unfortunately i dont have the money to buy a 800 dollar scope. Is the vortex diamondback 6-24x50 good?
hunting with luke thank you. Unfortunately the 6-25x50 i want by that brand is a bit out of my price range. Also 2 days ago i ordered the vortex. They have a lot of good reviews and a lot of ppl at my local deer camp use them.
I love the 338 lapua, I have shot my Barrett MRAD out to 1500 yards and dropped an Elk at 900 yards with second shot, with a lot of fine math and a bit of luck. Fitted new Vortex Viper HST 6-24 x 50mm SFP.
I have pretty much the exact same setup, but have yet to shoot it. I'm a little farther north than you are, so we have to wait for a little bit better weather.
Who Tee Who... I am impressed with your shooting skills. The sweet sound of that pinging makes me want to buy 110BA LAPUA. But, I have to stop this insane drooling and get my Savage 308 Win out ot the outdoor range. I have had it a year now and only fired 2 times in an indoor range. It was fun, however I need to take it outdoors where I can "become one with the rifle" Thank you for creating another really cool video.

Awesome 👍! Great job. That Savage 110 BA Stealth. 338 Lapua Magnum is my next purchase and my dream gun also. Seeing how I won't be able to purchase a. 50 BMG or afford the ammo for 10 yrs. Excellent video. The other calibers though? Separate vids?
"CheyTac Perses" came out with new furniture and was going to be my gun of choice but man my buddy has the Barrett MRAD in FDE with 10+1 mag was only 13 lbs compared to the CheyTac Perses with 5+1 mag at 18 lbs. So I went with the Barrett MRAD 338 Lapua magnum, main reason I am use to shooting Barrett's long bangers. Even though price range was comparable to each other and accuracy to me was equal the weight made the choice for me. Yeah would love to own a CheyTac M200 Intervention but my wallet would not let me buy a 15+ grand rifle that also comes with expensive ammo not to mention it leaves your prey in little bits and pieces at 2 miles lol
@@WHOTEEWHO The thing is bro. You are already a great shooter. Most don't understand how hard it is to hit anything 1000yds and beyond even if you had zero cross winds and ideal temperature. You have to know basic ballistics 101 to hit 100 yards but to hit a target at 1000 or longer? You have to have at a minimum, a marksman skill set to achieve that and have to know all what it entails to hit your target at that range, bullet drop, wind, spin drift and know how to doping your scope to even come close. Set that scope up for maximum eye relief. When shooting long range I dont put much pressure in the shoulder. Less touching the gun the better
