This is why we've abandoned the idea of moving to either KY, TN, MO, or AR. We've been in the midwest all our lives and concluded that people down south are nowhere near as nice as in the midwest. It's probably a lack of taverns and supper clubs and trying to outdo one another in church.
@ZZZ Accounting I've spent a good amount of time in each state. Not vacationing, but actually staying in an area for 4-6 weeks at a time. Since 2019, I've spent about 8 months between those 4 states. I've met a lot of good people doing so, no doubt. The vibe is just different.

They crashed hard enough to trigger the air bags (too bad, I would rather have seen them split their heads on the windshield), and then they ran off like frightened deer and yet I would bet anything that at least one of them said "I can't breathe" as they were being taken in. They were definitely not practicing the verbal judo training they should have received. You never say "please", you speak loudly and with a commanding voice, you use the squad's PA system so you are heard and hopefully understood. I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the many great contributions of the Black community and their culture, to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills, unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence, enriches our schools, and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real Estate values are fueled by the influx of African Americans into an area, due to their caring and respectful nurturing of these communities, an example of all they have achieved, by their enthusiasm for self-improvement through hard work and a self-reliant, can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.
I'll simply say their ancestors did not choose to come to this country. Is that an excuse for them, NO. Still, most Americans ancestors brought this problem to our shores just as White Christians were a plague on Native Americans. I don't know the solution nor does any politician or African Leaders in that community. There are good people from that community only they are never shown and often they are ridiculed by their own community as Uncle Toms.
