BACKSTORY:
Due to some recent health challenges, I have started to lose my hair. So naturally, I turned to RUclips and the internet to educate myself on the world of Wigs. Wow! It's a very big and sometimes confusing world. I found it very time-consuming to locate beautiful-looking Silver/Grey and/or white wigs (and hairpieces/toppers); let alone understand exactly what I was buying. It was a huge learning curve. In an effort to "give back" to SO MANY who have helped ME, here on RUclips, I have uploaded my own video reviews here of Silver/Grey/White Hair Wig (and hairpieces/toppers) reviews. I hope it helps save you gobs of time. It will grow as I learn more and add more reviews.

I know what you mean about the Widowś Peak. For the most part, I really like mine, but it does complicate the lace front application. I feel like I need to pluck some of the hair out of the lace front because it comes down much lower than my hairline on either side of mu WP. Love your channel Angela!

I’m looking at the back of your head as you were adjusting the clips I noticed your hair color versus the topper color and the iced Grenada seems to have a creamy, less silver appearance than your hair. Would you say that this shows any type of blonde? I’m only asking in comparison to your own hair which is a stunning color by the way! I guess I’m wondering if there’s any hint of blonde in there?
That is beautiful and looks so natural . I have no grey in my hair and I weee grey wigs because I love them . I’m 65 so I don’t think it’s going to change much . My Moms didn’t .

What a PAIN. I’m exhausted from trying to fix my hair loss. Every day I get dressed, on my makeup, and then I literally take a deep breath as I work with my hair to hide my scalp's empty spaces. I manipulate it until it looks "normal". How I miss the freedom I had as a younger woman.....
I hear you. I finally found Toppik and sprinkle it on to cover my pink scalp in the thinning places. My hair is white and it works. It comes in other colors too.

@@betspath Me too. I miss the days when I didn't have to worry about it. But at least I have enough to get by. I know it could be worse. I think it's heredity because I'm healthy too. My mom had it and she thought it was her meds. Guess not. 😒
What was the purpose for spritzing with just before applying the hair? Water dissolves It Stays.
Hmmmm Sherry ... I’m not sure. I’d have to go back and watch it. I wonder if it was the spot where I was spritzing the “it stays” off my had so that the glue wouldn’t get into my hair.
Can you recommend a silver grey human hair topper?
Wow you know what? I can't! I've never had one ... but stick with the name brands like Jon Renau/Belletress/etc.

You do know you can trim the lace to match your widow's peak, right? Just a very slight shaping of the lace makes all the difference in the world.

I tried this piece and my crown is too thin to hold the combs plus my bio hair is more white than Raquel's color. I don't want to deal with glue. 😒 I'm going to try another wig you reviewed....Kristin. Thank you for your channel!!!

@@SilverLiningsAngela Hi! Not yet. Like you, I actually prefer longer hair. On another site they were talking about how Top Billing will be coming out in color Iced Sweet Cream. I was thinking I might try that color with the Milano grip. My hair is not silvery enough for 56/60. I like the color of Kristen though...just wish it was longer.
I don't understand why people use glue when there's tape?? It is so much easier and way clean

When you wear a topper, you MUST leave few strands of your bio hair and brush it with the topper

I added a little bang so I don't have to integrate any of my bio hair at the front. It looks great, and I love that this topper is a lower density so it is easy to put it in a ponytail or use a barrette for a half-up hairdo.
I’m just at the beginning of growing my hair out, I’m ditching the dye. I’ve been colouring my hair for over 35 years. I’m in my 60’s and my hair is pretty white! Very little grey left! I’m hoping it turns out like yours ! It’s not easy, the demarcation line is so obvious ! Any advice?, I’m wearing wigs sometimes . It’s so hard to look in the mirror and see such a stark contrast! I guess I’m entering the ugly stage, 3 rd month😩. Thank goodness it’s winter! I can throw on a hat!

I know a woman who is growing out her colored hair with the help of her hairdresser. They’re letting the gray/white show in the front and keeping the back and sides colored as they let the front expand towards the crown. Her hairdresser is very good at her job.

Hi Karen ... I honestly don't know. I know many of the companies do not ship to Canada. Did you try emailing WigStudio1 to inquire if they would? It costs about $25-30 MORE to mail out of country so I'm thinking that's why many companies do not do that.
This topper is meant to blend with your bio hair. It would look more cohesive if you did that at the top where your widows peak is.

I’d be worried that what thinning hair I had up there would come out of my head slowly but surely
I'm told as long as you don't make the clips too tight it will not hurt your hair.
Wouldn’t want to put glue on my own hair, already not great. Puts me off getting a topper.

Your bio hair is such a pretty white. Perhaps a full 60 would match it better now. You do look very pretty either way.
I have yet to find a white I'm totally happy with. They just don't have enough "depth" to them. I keep looking.

Why is your eyeliner going up the quarters of the way, not at the END of your eye ?? It makes it look like the makeup isnt done right. That hair piece doesn't match your natural hair, it looks really bad in the back because your hair is a cool white and that topper has a beige tinge to it
