This topper is made to sit farther back from the hairline and have your own hair added in at the front and at the back. If your hair is in its naturally curly state, it may not work with this straight piece. Consider finding a topper that matches your natural curl pattern or go for a full wig so you can put all of your natural hair under it where it doesn't show.
Hi Sarah! RW doesn't identify the density of their toppers as low or high-- they are all considered "average" density. However, a good rule of thumb is that hand-tied caps are most of the time lower density than wefted. So a very large base topper that has hand-tied and wefts will likely be more dense than a topper that is 100% hand-tied only. We hope this helps! Most toppers are hand-tied or monofilament, so they will not have permatease and will therefore have less volume than pieces that do contain permatease. This is so that they more naturally blend in with your bio hair. You always have the option of using a teasing comb and hair spray safe for synthetic hair to create as much volume as you desire.

I have the 16” version. It’s very lank and heavy hanging. I think Patti is trying her best to style here. It’s a very odd feeling fiber.
