Hi Jill. I have been wearing this topper for a few years now. I absolutely love it. I tend to use wig tape to hold it in place as my job requires me to be pretty active and I want that extra security. The tape does shine a little but I simply apply a little face powder and problem solved. Can't wait to see the other topper you recommend. I also find that adding a table spoon of baking soda to my water, when I wash and condition the topper, helps to keep the ends from looking "fried."
I retired as a teacher and went back to work as a teachers aid and my worst fear was not the students in middle school… But my hair loss so I started with a topper from Amazon and thanks to your beautiful beautiful review. I think I found my topper. I have followed you for a long time… You have no idea who I am, but I know your journey sending you love and hugs from the huge beautiful state of Ohio! Thank you for the review I'm sold!
Absolutely stunning! I think a topper is such a lovely alternative, especially if you're new to wigs. I'm still exploring my options, but watching your videos is really helping me learn and think about what I can do too. Thank you so much for all of your insights and help and support of others on this hair/wig journey! ♥
It looks lovely on you.its a very flattering colour and style.its a young looking style, good length, not too long,on a mature woman like myself.nice soft make up too.
I know this sounds a little strange but thank you for saying, hair loss, thinning is OK, When you've had good hair and realize your parting your hair differently, you avoid doing things, and no matter what products you use on your hair its just flat shortly after, you just give I thought I had to do short hair and back comb even if I didn't like those styles.. Your channel is helping me, making me feel like there is hope to have attractive hair, Thank you
Hi Jill, this topper is so pretty. When you put her on right out of the box, she looked so full and lush. These beautiful toppers and wigs look so much like real hair, it's just amazing. Great video, thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful rest of your day!! Hugs❤️
That color looks perfect on you. As I have mentioned previously, I got my Top Billing out and have worn it consistently this summer. Lately I have been wearing Rachel and Fiery because I can put them in perfect ponytails too and they are so secure on my head. I also feel the need to put some It Stays on the Top Billing lace front, as Deborah mentioned. What I have found works very well is to put the It Stays on my fingers, wet them a bit, and press the It Stays from my fingers along the lace, holding it down for a few seconds. That is better for me than rolling It Stays on my hair or forehead -- it has such a strong fragrance, that I don't care for. I think I will pick up the Revitalize & Shine because I, like you, condition my wigs every single time I take them off.
Thank you Jill for such an informative chat.I am now in another phase of hair loss and am still trying to decide. My hair is not long enough for the topper you look stunning in, and I am not adventurous in choosing a shade for "fun" or one to make a ponytail with. Looking at the hair shades and picking up out is an issue for me. You are the best and informative person I have watched on You Tube. Also love your GRWM.
Hello Leona! Aww...well first off, thank you for your kind compliment. ;) If you have shorter hair, you can trim or shape any topper to work. I know trying to find a professional who is comfortable working with hair pieces can be difficult, but when you do find one, and they are good....they are worth their weight in gold. 😀
Hey Jill! I have had absolute no difficulties in loosening the lace from my forehead by just soaking a washcloth with water and pressing it on to the lace. No need for alcohol at all...I know that's a big NO NO! I never have had to use an adhesive before to even keep my wigs from slipping. This particular topper just did not lay right, so I did what I had to do to make it work!!! ❤🤗 lace down
The main stock photo of Top Billing was deceiving to me (it made me think it has too much hair). That is why I have never clicked on the style to see more photos about it. I am very glad to come across this video since I need a helper hair for a trip to a place that's hot and humid. This topper is more affordable than Top smart. And I am ready to try a heat-defiant one. I ordered one today, and can't wait to receive it. Thank you so much Jill. These reviews are tremendously helpful. Happy Labor day ❤🥰
Fabulous video Jill, I bought this topper in the same colour and it is a fantastic blend with my mousey brown hair. However, there are a few issues with it which I think is only fair people should know. The manufacturer has changed factories which has affected the quality and especially in my case affected where it can be parted. Mine is only happy being a left sided part and the crown is fixed in one direction. I’ve sprayed water on it and applied gentle heat and it does not want to move. The length considering I ordered the 12 inch version measures 16 inches in some areas and some strands of the bangs are really short. Means I need to add some product to keep it out of my eyes. The lace front which is good needs sticking down as it doesn’t lay flat and the fibres are really shiny. I’m keeping it as the colour is a fantastic blend with my bio hair only it needs cutting which makes the experience more expensive. Being my first topper I would be reluctant to buy this piece again.
Thank you for giving us such helpful info. I saw one of your videos that had cute accessories especially a headband but can’t find on your Amazon site. I really like how you add a few accessories to make them comfortable and so realistic
Thank you for all you've done to help me in my wig wearing journey! I purchased Top Billing after seeing you wearing it in a ponytail. The heat here in Florida has been brutal, so this has been the perfect option for me over the summer! Unfortunately, my particular piece had a defect which went unnoticed until I actually wore it out for the first time. The lace front actually buckled up and would not lay flat against my forehead! I tried "It Stays" to no avail. However , thanks to another wig sister on RUclips, I discovered Ebin New York Wonder Lace Bond adhesive spray. That lace now stays put all day long!!! Only downside is that it requires more water to remove. It is a much better option for those who may sweat more also. Have you ever tried It? Looking forward to many more of your vlogs!
Hi Deborah! I'll definitely check out that lacing adhesive. I don't generally "actually" glue my lace down with wigs or toppers...not even this one. I use the adhesive not to keep the lace down, but to keep the piece from slipping. However, it sounds like you did need to actually get the lace to lay flat. ;) Thanks so much for sharing!
I wanted to follow up: After looking into the adhesive, I wanted to let you know that that line is actually water-proof...it is designed for a kind of wig or piece that the lace needs gluing down and for systems where people actually don't take it off for several days. The only reason I explain this is because you do need to remove it with an adhesive remover or they recommend alcohol. (AHH!! Noooo) alcohol would be a rough on the skin, but here is one that I would choose: www.wigsbypattispearls.com/jon-renau-lace-let-go.html If you have been managing removal with just water (explains why perhaps it's a little difficult) than fine, but be sure that the removal process isn't damaging your lace. I wanted to post this also in case others may be reading. ;)
Hi Deborah, living in South Florida, and being new to wearing toppers, how do you wear them without feeling so hot and getting sweaty? Is it a matter of getting use to it? I have a bang topper with less monofilament space coverage and it still makes me so uncomfortable in the heat. Any suggestions?
Thanks for doing this video. Your review has made me want to try this topper. I’m going to buy one! I’ve been wearing the Jon Renau Top Wave 12” for many years now, but I think the Top Billing looks more natural without any customization. With the Top Wave, I’ve had to go into it and thin it and trim it around my face. It’s been a faithful topper, but time to branch out.
I really can’t wait to see your next recommendation of the lace front topper you mentioned . I have been wearing easipart and it’s great but need lace front because my hair is so thin on top. I’m really going to chose my second topper between Top billing and whatever is the next one you’re going to show us. One problem I have is I have short hair and don’t know what to do with the extra length in the Top Billing!
I’ve been wearing JR top wave 12fs8 in a ponytail all summer and I love it. It has just enough curl to make it so cute. I don’t have to straighten my own hair because it’s naturally curly and blends with the top wave. I can also put a claw clip in to hold it up. ❤️. Love this video.
Hi Jill! Could you show us what other lace front toppers you have? I live in the Canary Islands and it is so hot . I really prefer the HD friendly fibres like you as they are more realistic but most toppers that I find seem to be synthetic. Thank you so much for these wonderful videos, so so helpful. x
Hi Jill, in one of your older videos, you suggested using a gentle Woolite to wash the topper or wig and nonscented fabric softener to condition. Since you are recommending wig products now, do you still recommend the other? If not, what was the problem or is there a video discussing this? I'm fairly new to your channel and have not gotten to hear all the things about these products. In fact, I just got my first topper and wig, so I'm trying not to make any mistakes. Thank you so much, Jill; I really enjoy listening to you and all the demonstrations you provide. I appreciate any answers you may give me. God Bless!
Gosh is it 4 years since that topper video! I love toppers did you trim the lace front I can't remember? Anyway she looks completely natural Jill just gorgeous 😍
I purchased this topper this summer and absolutely LOVE it. You are so right. It is the perfect alternative for a wig in this weather. I am looking forward to seeing your review on the new topper you mentioned. Thanks for your candid reviews they are a great help.
Hello Jil, could you please show how you straighten your own hair before you place the topper. I am really looking into purchase one for myself. I have a hard time doing my own hair so if it is to much I wouldn't be able to use a topper. Thank you, I love your videos and your honesty have with makeup and wigs.
I just use a straightener on dry hair....I have very thin hair so in just a few swipes I'm done. ;) I have a wet to dry straightener so technically I can use it on damp hair, but it doesn't take me long to blow dry my hair (at all) so it's generally dry.
Jill Lynn HELP.. need more Topper reviews & maybe even show the colors that you own.. even if in the box. Question: Does any Topper line have root line but looks highlighted w blonde on natural light-med brown bio-hair??? Anxiously await your feedback. I follow you on all religiously. A little hard to always find your latest video or Vlog. Your voice & info, in my opinion is THE BEST OF ALL… you are very thorough & talk at a wonderful pace. I keep journals on your info. Await response PLEASE… Left info at Patti’s Pearls @ reference you & your code. Await to hear from them( I sent photos of all with my message)… Help! Lynn Applefield
Hi Jill I am over in England. My natural hair is very much like yours, I have been watching your RUclips video which I thought was fabulous. I haven’t got a clue on purchasing one at all. I like the style and colour of the one you are demonstrating but the trouble is, how do I go about ordering one? Do you have to go by measurements? I am very petite so have only a small head. I have never gone down this road before so I would love your advice. Thank you Mandy
Thank you so so so, much! I just cancelled my perm appointment for tomorrow, so that I can try this option first! I think the perm might have been a disaster. This is the perfect option for my naturally straight hair. Also because I’m in cancer therapy, the chemicals of the perm might have really reacted differently than they have in the past, and who knows what would have happened.
Jill, my hair loss is receding temples and front part area. The rest of my hair is thick and heathy. In your opinion, how well would a topper this length look over hair a little longer than the piece? Would it just look like layers? Using a matching color, or course.
Hi Kathleen! Hmmm....that's weird about the blurry bit because I am not seeing that on my end? I also haven't had anyone else mention it. So sorry you had a hard time!
I’m reading this comment as I’m watching the video and I think I understand what Kathleen is talking about. When you’re holding shaded biscuit, the camera focus is on your face, which is just those few inches further away from the camera, and the shaded biscuit topper in your hand is just slightly out of focus, because it’s closer to the camera. When you show the shampoo, or anything where you hold it directly in front of you, the camera usually doesn’t focus on it unless you hold the item still.
Thank you for all your informative videos!!! I found a topper . Taylor..from Godivas Secret Wigs...it was so perfect in color and style but the machine tease or whatever it's called ruined it! Does this topper have that tease on the top??? Do you trim them yourself?
Hi Jill, I’m new to toppers and found your channel a few weeks ago. I have been watching all your videos and have learned a lot from you! I’ve ordered Jon Renau easipart XL HD, Smart top and Racquel Welch Top Billing. The only one I’m curious about is Top Notch which I know you love so I’d like your opinion on if you like Top Notch or Top Billing better? It’s getting pricey paying the return fee as I’ve ordered different colors in the same pieces to find the right one. Out of all the toppers I’ve ordered I like Top Billing the best. I have plenty of bio hair and don’t need the lace front but love how wispy and natural the fibers look, more so than Jon Renau which looks shiny even the HD fibers. I would love you thoughts…Thanks for sharing!
Hi is the same topper from a couple of years ago. Here’s what I am noticing. The side swept bangs in the unit you’re showing in this video is much longer than others I’m looking at. Can you enlighten me?
thanks for helping me choose a topper.. question, do you feel the "flip " on the ends that toppers or wigs do make it look unnatural ? not sure if you curled the bottom up a little or not :) ty
Hi Jill, I just found your channel today and maybe you can direct me to other videos you might have answers to these questions to, I’ve been wearing toppers for 2 years and before that, wigs for 6 years. Do you suggest any brands that do longer toppers and full black in color? Watching your videos, when I follow links, I’m surprised to see dark brown being the darkest offered. Thank you!! Also, my hair is white long at around 22”. I’m wondering if I should cut it to have more options.
The topper is really beautiful, and the color you’re wearing is a perfect match! The only problem I have is I’m new to toppers, and I live in South Florida, and even a small bang topper makes me hot and sweaty! I haven’t tried to wear this one you’re wearing yet. Any suggestions to stay cooler? Aside from that, you look stunning!
Hi Nancy! I think it'll be just a matter of trying it. I am use to full wigs, so a topper like this one is heaven in the Summer comparably...BUT it's still wearing something, and nothing beats wearing nothing. Haha.
I would love to have seen the bang area down. I know the 2 different lengths of this topper have different bangs; one shorter and fuller than the other. Because of this, I can’t decide which one to get. So frustrating!
Hi Jill. Thank you so much for the very informative video, as always you help so many all the time. I’m very interested in a topper to start with , I’ve ordered Toni Brattain wigs in the past and just can’t find the right one that looks natural.
Love your channel. I learned a lot by watching your videos. That topper looks great on you. Wondering if you did something to the front part, like cut off the lace somewhat so that it would fall on your forehead like a natural hairline? Maybe my head is different because when I put this on, the topper looks like it’s straight across my forehead. It looks so unnatural.
Will it look odd If I fold the lace part under, as I dont need the front coverage, or is there a similar rq topper without lace? It looks incredible, and love it on you! Ty 😘
Hello! I actually use to do that with the couple lace front toppers I had/have. NOW though I actually need to utilize the lace. ;) I liked folding back rather than trimming the lace. You can give it a try!
Hi Jill I love listening to videos, I have very very short hair thin, would love to wear a topper because where I live it is so hot and humid in Florida I cannot stand to wear a wig, do you think if I were to buy one and put it in a ponytail that it would work for me love to know your opinion, bless you.
Looks totally natural, matches your coloring exactly. How ever.... nothing makes you come to life and sparkle like Shaded Bisquit. Why wear anything else? I'm a huge fan, love you in blondes.
Jill, I bought this topper using your code. Are you supposed to trim the lace along the hairline? Sorry for the question but I've never had a lace front.
Thanks Jill. Have a question. What lace topper is the most realistic? Needing to stay on all day. Living in Florida. Omgosh hot !!what products are you finding best to secure the lace front?
Hi Jill I absolutely love the top billing hair topper it looks so good on you my only problem is I have no idea what color to get I have like a mousy blonde color but not really that light anymore And also where do you buy this particular wig I saw it on sale I think it was for 199 or something and I think it was the wig outlet is that a good place to buy a hair topper thank you for your videos I just love them
Thanks for sharing, Stephanie! I am sure it's helpful for others! 😀
Love love this look on you. Very natural
I also like lace front toppers because my hairline is the most affected by hair loss.
We all aren’t lucky enough to have longer hair. Please can you show some toppers for shorter hair. Please, please
Thank you for giving us such helpful info. I saw one of your videos that had cute accessories especially a headband but can’t find on your Amazon site. I really like how you add a few accessories to make them comfortable and so realistic

I agree with everything you said about this topper. It is the best. I also like Ellen Wille's quite a bit.

I bought the Top Billing. Its gorgeous. Just heavy at times.
could you tell me what color is that topper that appear at the middle of your program is kind of brown smoky beautiful thanks for the video
I’d love to see it in shaded biscuit!!

I’m in the U.K. too. I always order from Mimo wigs in Scotland. They are so helpful, they will be able to help you.
Oh, I love this! Thank you so much!
You are so welcome! Happy you found it helpful! Thanks for watching. 😀❤️

Hi Kathleen! Hmmm....that's weird about the blurry bit because I am not seeing that on my end? I also haven't had anyone else mention it. So sorry you had a hard time!
I’m reading this comment as I’m watching the video and I think I understand what Kathleen is talking about. Hi Jill, is this topper available in a wavy style as my hair has natural wave to it.
Jill, hi. I have a topper. Do you know the best way to make the knots in the part look more real? Thanks.
I don't think either are particularly full. They are very wispy....but, you could easily trim a true bang in it if you were so inclined. ;)
Hi Jill. Thank you so much for the very informative video, as always you help so many all the time. I’m very interested in a topper to start with , I’ve ordered Toni Brattain wigs in the past and just can’t find the right one that looks natural.
Hello Roseann! I think it's a great place to start... so happy you found this helpful!
Hey Jill! Just found out the Loreal Pro Glow foundation is being discontinued. What do you suggest for a replacement foundation?
Oh my lord....are you serious?! AHHH!! Ok, well I am going to have to do some experimenting and get back to you. ;)
The first topper is 100% undetectable.
What's the different between a topper and wig?
Hi Jill I love listening to videos, I have very very short hair thin, would love to wear a topper because where I live it is so hot and humid in Florida I cannot stand to wear a wig, do you think if I were to buy one and put it in a ponytail that it would work for me love to know your opinion, bless you.
A topper is not a full wig....so it wouldn't work putting it into a ponytail without having your own hair incorporated. I hope that makes sense?
Hi Jill ,where can I buy this toppers of good quality?
All info and links are provided below in the description area below the video.
I really want to try this topper, but my hair is long. Will be it blends well with long hair and look just layered hair?
They do make a longer version. This is the 12”.
Looks totally natural, matches your coloring exactly. How ever.... nothing makes you come to life and sparkle like Shaded Bisquit. Why wear anything else? I'm a huge fan, love you in blondes.
What color is the lighter one you were showing?
Can you put the details in the notes below, on where we can purchase these?
Hi Tanya! It is there. ;) All the specs, and even a link that'll take you to it. ;)
Jill, I bought this topper using your code. Are you supposed to trim the lace along the hairline? Sorry for the question but I've never had a lace front.
Hello Dianna! No… don’t trim. It’s designed not to be needed trimming of any sort. 😉
@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy thanks!
Puede ser traducido en español??😊
Thanks Jill. Have a question. What lace topper is the most realistic? Needing to stay on all day. Living in Florida. Omgosh hot !!what products are you finding best to secure the lace front?

Hi Jill I absolutely love the top billing hair topper it looks so good on you my only problem is I have no idea what color to get I have like a mousy blonde color but not really that light anymore And also where do you buy this particular wig I saw it on sale I think it was for 199 or something and I think it was the wig outlet is that a good place to buy a hair topper thank you for your videos I just love them
