You can find them cooking up variations on some “midwestern sad-girl surf grunge” to serve alongside your daily cup of Café Bustelo. With sounds that span the back porch, to the beach shack, to the backroads at night…there’s something here on the menu for every appetite. This cast of merry misfits boasts a Harley-riding pistol-packing punk, a former guest on Jerry Springer, a recidivist hitchhiker, and a rising rap-star-turned-bassist.
While remaining true to Americana roots, Sydney & The Swarm each bring their own flavor, genre, and curated sound to a bespoke mish-mash of down-home twang, coupled with sad-babe soliloquy, and rusted-roof grunge aplenty.
