You can’t really expect the song sung in a language to be done exactly the same way in a foreign language, especially with two distinct languages like Japanese and English that share no linguistic similarities. For example, I love Cinderella but wouldn’t expect its French version to have the exact lyrics. And I personally think you underestimate the English version a bit because the English language, while being easier to grasp the basics than Japanese, also has many nuances misunderstood by non-natives. And the songs also convey love and longing in simple language in both Japanese and English, not purple prose or intricate literacy. It depends on how the performers portray Suzu and Belle. And I think they, Kaho and Kylie, both did a good job. “A Million Miles Away” sounds just as powerful as “会いたい”.

Incredible that their voices are so similar, the tone, and everything else is almost identical, I love the movie and I love its songs, although her behavior with the father, being that he did not kill her mother, is cold and distant, why? Absolutely incredible!! I got chills through the whole mix. Amazing job syncing them together. They sound so similar it sounds like one person. Beautiful!
Ok, so I'm 7 months late to finding this; but SUPER glad to have found it. Like, after like a week from jamming to the music after watching the film, I was thinking "You know, I hope someone does those multi language mashups for this." While yes, I do listen to the English version the most; both performances are so beautiful I was waiting for someone to put them together. Glad to see this here. Now I hope one day someone takes up the challenge to put all 4 current versions together.
When I first heard the English version, apart from being impressed by the beautiful job she did, I thought they sounded really similar. I listened to all the songs with both versions at the same time and let me tell you, they harmonise really well.
This is rather excellent. The mix is seamless. This is also a great way to compare both voices at the same time. Thanks for this. This is one of my favourite films now. Definitely one of the best I've seen a long time. 😁👍🏾

This is the best mix version I’ve ever heard Woah it’s so amazing
Finally someone did this! Thanks a lot, I really enjoyed this mix :)
This is so beautiful
No way, it was actually 2 different people singing the English and Japanese versions? I’ve always thoughts they used 1 specific singer for both versions
Absolutely incredible!! I got chills through the whole mix. Amazing job syncing them together. They sound so similar it sounds like one person. Beautiful!
Oh my gosh!!! This is the best mix ever 😭😭😭😭😭
I NEED THIS VER. ON MY SPOTIFY PLAYLIST !!!
Now I hope one day someone takes up the challenge to put all 4 current versions together.
love when both ver in kind of medley :D
they should both perform live together
Damn I love your voide, and the editing is just superb
When I first heard the English version, apart from being impressed by the beautiful job she did, I thought they sounded really similar. I listened to all the songs with both versions at the same time and let me tell you, they harmonise really well.
CHILLSSSSS, THIS IS GREAT
This is rather excellent. The mix is seamless. This is also a great way to compare both voices at the same time. Thanks for this. This is one of my favourite films now. Definitely one of the best I've seen a long time. 😁👍🏾
Keep up the work my DUDE/GIRL... YOUR AMAZING
Such a beautiful mixed medley! Their voices blend so well!💙💛
INSANE INSANE INSANE
I LOVE BOTH OF THEIR VOICES!!! 🥰🥰
