@ali99 _ let's be real headphone jack??? Lol get the dongle attach it to the headphones and problem solved. Matter of fact you can get a dongle that even allows for pass through charging. The only phone you will get is the new Sony flag ship if you want a dongle. And you don't need an IR blaster anymore. I hear your complaints but a pass because of those 2 things is silly. Have fun staying in the stone age or with a budget phone. Also my favorite device from samsung for me was the note 8 and s21ultra and s23 ultra.

When it comes to a full working stable and hasslefree ecosystem, Apple-products are way more superior, especially for professional use. Always been like that, always will be.
Now when you only need a great phone and don't put hours and hours in on the production-side of an ecosystem, then you're probably better off with android+windows.

In my perspective, the ideal smartphone is the one that caters to your specific needs and requirements. Each individual has unique preferences and priorities when it comes to their smartphone experience. Therefore, the perfect smartphone is subjective and varies from person to person. It should seamlessly integrate into your lifestyle, providing the features and functionalities that enhance your productivity, entertainment, and connectivity. Whether you prioritize camera quality, battery life, storage capacity, or innovative software features, the perfect smartphone is the one that meets your expectations and empowers you to make the most of your digital life. Ultimately, the perfect smartphone is a personal choice, reflecting your individuality and serving as a reliable companion in the fast-paced world of modern technology.

    Still from this day,
The Note 20 Ultra 5G still packs a punch, As to those who have never used a Note phone, Looking at the S22 Ultra and the S23 Ultra,
There is not much difference, Only to the Camera and battery,
Like battery power, all depends how long and what you use the phone for,
Trust me a phones a phone as people do get sucked in to keep buying for the sake of the Android and Camera,
Not a big user of any phone, And don't like Samsung's folding and flip phones at all.

    @Asbyt
Just plainly speaking here from *The United States* -- there are only 3 devices that matter: *iPhones, Galaxies and Pixels*
*Cellular Carriers* have a big monopoly on what they sell to consumers, and that's often a product from *Apple, Samsung, or Google.* Every now and then you see the minority: *Motorola or OnePlus.*
So regardless of what tech reviewers say about the results of "Best Phone of the Year" Americans will always gravitate to the *Big 3.*
We're always cognizant of the device's *re-sale value* when in after 2-3 years time a device can go through a trade-in process for a new one.
No one really would go for an Oppo, Meizu or Xiaomi regardless of how great they are. They're mostly for enthusiasts who have money to spare. First, there's almost always hardware compatibility issues with the 4G LTE or 5G signals unless the device can be imported with a North American version. Then again their re-sale value always or almost amounts to zero. Then there's an issue of software and security updates. The Big 3 have the necessary resources to support their devices usually past the 3-year mark; with Apple's iPhones being supported the longest.
Don't misjudge me as throughout the years I've used many daily drivers beyond The Big 3 from HTC, LG, ZTE, Xiaomi, BLU, Honor and OnePlus. But after a year's use they all end up collecting dust in some drawer around the house.

use mine for work, so 8 hours screen on non stop running maps and other apps. currently using a pixel6 with android beta due to phone overheating issues, which i must admit has been a lot better for last 6months and really good last 3months. would have bought the 7 but the finger print reader is unforgivable

The best phone in the world is the one you prefer. As for me, I currently have the Pixel 7 Pro and I'm enjoying it.

Can the Pixel 7 Pro handle gaming on the phone? I'm curious because i'm abit more gaming-centric and finding a phone that can do gaming and good photoshooting at the same time !

@Samuel Wan Nope pixels aren't built for top tier performance. Try looking into the s23 series instead. Better performance while not being that far behind in camera quality. Also the s23 series have access to bypass charging.

@samirnoor smoother in what? Day to day use? Gaming? Day to day use is more down to software but no chance in hell the pixel 7 is smoother for gaming

as ex IPhone user I just want to say one thing, I don`t want to be controled by big company how my screen should be looking.
I am paying for these devices and I want total freedom to do whatever I want with them what I have not realized while I was using IPhone so since 2 years ago android all the way.
I just bought Magic 5 Pro and I am delighted with this amazing phone, guys what a phone this is

A maybe strange issue with a smart phone screen protector .... does it conduct on both sides ? I hope not. Sincerley. That means the whole screen surface is touched. 24 hours a day. And the finger touch only reaches the calibrational software instead of the usual way of touching only one spot. Now you touch the whole screen including one spot. My phone died that way. R.i.p. mister buck.

For me, even though its not listed, OnePlus 11. The OnePlus 11 stands out as a top-tier smartphone with a sleek design, a large and vibrant 6.7" display, and powerful performance driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform. Its versatile camera system, featuring a 50MP main camera and 48MP ultra-wide camera, delivers impressive photo and video capabilities. With a robust 5,000 mAh battery and SUPERVOOC 100W fast charging, the OnePlus 11 ensures long-lasting usage and quick recharging. The device also boasts a range of connectivity options, including 5G support, and features like an in-display fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos supported dual speakers for an enhanced multimedia experience.
