    PAUL READ THIS:
I think you will be happier in the long run if you take the time to move the rocks in the reef pond over to the new predator pond. Build some cool arches and caves out of Marco rock that are better suited for the smaller fish and add those to the reef pond. The big fake rocks make better structure for larger fish like groupers and sharks. You will get to see the smaller fish more if you build them something they feel more secure in.

Let’s be honest, Paul is a nice guy but it’s clear everything he does is more for views than fish health. It’s incredible how many constant mistakes he does, the idea of “seeing more” reef fish is foolish, cause they strive when feel safe and can hide. It’s a selfish choice, on top of having no idea on how to make a tank pleasant to look at. And I don’t want even to start with how his idea of moving around things is stressy and wrong. I don’t want to be seen he’s as an hater, I’m really not. But if you want a channel on fish keeping, you should first think about their safety and health than constantly adding and moving things around to keep (silly) people hanging on.

Paul you’re doing it backwards the glued together type structure the community pound needs and the predatory ponds needs the bigger style rocks since those fish get a lot bigger. Most likely they won’t even use the type of structure you are describing because they won’t be able to fit in or through it. Anyways love the starfish get the lights hung for the community pond to get it brighter and more color pop off the fish.

Do you get triggered with how he feeds the nori? I wish he made a float contraption with some clips on it for them to be able to actually eat/share the piece of food.
But to say he completely mistreats his animals would be a false statement IMO, he does take pretty good care of a lot of the animals. I just wish he did more research with the salt water stuff, it's very beginner decisions that are being made and if someone like Tommy is behind him as a resource makes me question whether or not Tommy is giving him the thumbs up just cause it's a continuous paycheque and free advertising which is more concerning in my opinion.

FLAME ANGEL?!?!?!!? also, you do have a fair amount of structure in there, however it may be worth adding even more to it, to help the fish spread out and feel safer in more areas of the pond. where you added the extra random solo rocks, add things on that side that have smaller holes and gaps for the fish to feel safer in and then you will see them move around in all of all the little nooks and crannies instead of hiding in the one or two there now. I know weight is probably a small concern, but you can get several different types of pumice that will sink but is not much heavier than water and build it out to look more like an actual reef. but i get the appeal of having the wide open water so you can see the fish, just food for thought

Bro your freakin awesomeness. I found your page about 8-6 months ago, right b4 the 4000 gal saltwater and have watched every video like a 4yr old kid. I've enjoyed, aswell as want to get one of your saltwater starter tanks but most importantly I've learned alot from you. Thank you and never stop, I'm proud to be as you say one of the Cuffaros.

    hi Paul,
You probably won’t read this but I follow your channel for quite awhile now, since the first ponds at your parents house.
I used to love and enjoy your content but now you seem to be focused on views and not actually taking good care of the animals, especially the fish. Not giving animals the environment they need while having them in captivity stresses them out and they either get sick or die, so refusing to remodel the saltwater tank with those fish In it, is straight up a form of animal abuse.

You should do a tank where you go. Pick out fish like the three little ones that turn yellow and let viewers buy them for the tank

Tanner (SerpaDesign) has been pretty vocal about not collaborating with creators like Paul who show such ignorance in how they take care of their animals. Tanner and Paul couldn’t be farther apart in how they run their channels and care for their animals.

Hopefully the first starfish you put in will be OK. A lot of times they don’t like being out of the water and it’s better to put them directly into the water from the bag. If you look at the videos when you purchase the starfish, the chocolate starfish he took out of the water, but the others he kept them in the water and put them in the bag time will tell. Five they’re finicky with different water qualities. Hopefully you did a drip on them first.

How about designing a structure to put in the middle of your community saltwater pool. Have the top designed as a title pool above and at the waterline. A pump can continue to add fresh water. Enemies and urchins love this area. Fry and smaller animals will have a safer area.
