    lowered yaw rates --- sub 300 --- have proven to reduce the amount of yaw tumble. Its center of gravity and weak motors make it unable to perform hard yaw snaps.

  • @Singkhorn.S

    It's a known issue, though I wouldn't necessarily label it a bug-it's more a matter of physics. The drone is top-heavy, so when you perform a yaw motion at high speed while pitching down, it's prone to tumbling

    • @nadabird5349
      @nadabird5349 Год назад

      @@jamestravis21 afaik the issue has been reduced, but not eliminated. The only people who have reported the problem going away entirely are the people who have changed to the axisflying mod for the avata. Surprised you haven't heard it being brought up again. If you have been closely following the issue the past year, you'd know that many others have reported the issue still exists even after update and the consensus was that virtually no amount of tuning would fix it. As an (bad) analogy, it's like fixing a car that is not aerodynamic with a software update to fix the aerodynamics. Ok so it's a bad analogy, but forgive me haha.

    I can get my Mini 3 drone to drop the same way. 0:24 that swift turn where the drone must slow-down sideways seems to drop the inner-front propeller where sometimes the tilt is large enough to have the drone shut off the propellers. Literally I can repeat that crash every 3 seconds if I had a mini 3 to repeatedly crash for science. You can fix the problem with different flying techniques but I'm no flight instructor, I assume there will eventually be a firmware update that can better prevent the flips.

      @@tetto3226 Yes, when you are in S mode at high speed & if you slow down too fast sideways then the drone dips/falls. It will catch itself most of the time but you can force it to accidentally turn off the props due to the tilt angle being too high.

    I got mine just for altitide hold for occasional smooth property filming i have quads for most situations. But its not right people have paid so much for this drone from a highly profitable company for it to sketch out on a yaw spin. The amount of avatas destroyed and property damaged from this defect with no real care from dji is rubbish. They will just bring out another one for everyone to spend on and forget the avata.

  • @specialuser9888
    @specialuser9888 Год назад +3

    That's a normal bug, had it twice now and it makes the avata so unsafe for flying above water or trees. DJI doesn't seem to have a chance to fix it, what's the reason why i think it will stay.

    • @theluckofone1462
      @theluckofone1462 Год назад

      The reason is most likely the prop guards blocking the air, and or the weight. I think it would be hard to fix it in a update, the main thing they could do is just reduce the rates so it turns way slow
