Thanks for publishing reviews of Strive:ON. Mine has just arrived, and I haven't even ridden it yet. But I have a couple of concerns from my first closer look at it. The biggest one is that the motor compartment is not fully sealed. It is covered by the skid plate from below, but there are huge holes from both sides that will most likely allow dirt and water to enter the motor compartment. There are also some cables and connectors inside the compartment that seem to be exposed to that dirt. Additionally, this may make cleaning the bike more complicated. What is your experience with this? Will the motor, the electronics, and the battery survive this?
Cool, i have not experienced any issues with electrical water mixes with the bosch system. The usual caveats apply, dont jet wash the motor from the side and spray into the bearing area. The security location tracker on it is sealed. Cables are sealed, so I would think it will unless dunked completely be ip 5/7. My tech contacts at Bosch have said that there has vast improvement with bearing long life with the CX4. Behind the cover you find ddust etc, odd bit of mud, but nothing worrying.

I mostly ride technical and aggressive downhill, enduro rides, terrain is very very rocky (south of France) and sometimes I go to bikepark. I’ve already a spectral , and it do the job well but I’m limited by myself going uphill ( that’s why e-bike is perfect) Typical muscular ride: 25km /700d+ So which one will be the best choice? does the torque on offer throttle? like most of the e bike on the market like aventon for example and does the torque on help you go up hill since its an e bike? help please
Do you think the Strive On can do bike park sending big jumps/drops? Concerned on the durability of the frame and how nervouse it may get on high speed stuff
I wear whatever brand of tshirt i feel like depending on whats clean and useable and i can find, i basically am NOT doing paid for reviews... Specialized makes loads of riding gear which is really good... so I wear it sometimes.

How would you think you’d manage on a medium? I’m 6 foot and Canyon recommend large or medium.
i prefer a large.... more stablity. its for speed. go large.

Its pedal assist only. Yes it does help you go uphill a lot... perfect for gravity then shuttle back up on motor power.

My only problem with canon bikes is the color. Want to buy a strive on, but their coloring is dreadful.
get it wrapped by @chameleonskin can do custom wraps.
