I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I switched my banking over to Schwab this month. Several money market funds are paying over 5% right now (Feb, 2024). I can use the checking account and its benefits for day to day operating, and park emergency cash in a money market fund on the brokerage side. Way better return than a savings account, and more liquid than say a CD.
If you travel to other countries, this card is a must have. I go to Mexico yearly, and the banks have atm fees and with Charles Schwab you need not worry about fees.
I have a Schwab checking acct.. And all my brokerage accts with them. I love the fact I can just Zelle over money from my chase acct to my schwab acct immidiatley. And right into my brokerage accts. I might explore the brokerage account later, but I need some time to learn more about its possibilities.

That's a bug question that can't be answered in a comment. There are a bunch of different ways to invest. The first things to figure out what your risk tolerance, your goals, and your timeline look like then move on from there to find your style. Also, you can start with as little as $1
There a few Charles Schwab banks near me in the d.c. metropolitan area I had to connect to my other bank but I plan on going to their atm and deposit maybe. I guess the link is trustworthy. I’m just so skeptical of scammers. I been a victim few times before.

Hello, I'm new to your channel. Congratulations on eclipsing 12,000 subscribers. I have a question for you both. Would you please consider adjusting the video configurations to allow for subtitles in Spanish on your videos? To be clear, we're not asking you to translate anything manually. If I understand correctly, a few hours after you publish a new video, RUclips will auto-generate English subtitles. Then, you can go into the Channel Editor, and add additional languages for subtitles. Some RUclipsrs have explained it helps them reach a wider audience. In our case, my multi-lingual family and I watch RUclips via a ROKU on a big screen, so unlike a PC or Mac, the only way we can toggle subtitles on this device, is when the channel owner/manager adds them. Thanks for your consideration.
Thank you Pedro. We will definitely look into adding subtitles in different languages to help more people. We really appreciate you letting us know this was an option. Thank you also for recognizing our 12k milestone.
