Yes I started off with Schwab slices when they had a promo for $101 worth of slices of the five top stocks.. Apple Tesla Microsoft and two others can't recall. It's easy to maneuver their portal and their platform on the mobile and desktop. 😊
Is Ameritrade Schwab now? I heard Schwab owns Ameritrade and was moving to one platform. Is that correct? Im planning to start investing with them. I have Robinhood now is that a good platform?
Years ago I was going to use Robinhood but I did some research on it and found out that if you wanted to move your stocks to another brokerage you wouldn’t be able to do it. That may have since changed.
I use Fidelity, buying from the States Street Company S&P 500 ETF (SPLG). Expense Ratio 0.02% about $60 per/share growth stocks for wealth, I love red days.

Yes and just saw that. Thanks for bringing that to our attention . They just updated their fees in a recent email I recieved. There will now be a fee of $100 for closing and transferring your account to another broker along with other ones we didn't mention in the video.
I am failing to see the difference between these accounts and Webull for example. I can call any of these 3 platforms but will this be for investment advice?
Each one that we mentioned does have a financial advisory arm of the business which is what you can use if you felt you needed financial advice rather than managing your account on your own.
Thank you guys great information. I have been pondering where I want to roll my T ROWE PRICE account and this information was very helpful. Now I have some choices.
We wouldn’t say one is better than the other. They are for different purposes. IRA is for retirement wheee the taxable brokerage account is for whatever goal you want it to be and you can take the money out anytime you want without an early withdrawal penalty.
Thankyou for your expertise ladies. We had know idea and went in blind here in NZ it was rampant a month ago and on adds etc we would not have thought of it otherwise. We ended with up Fiatvision not by choice but by answering an add. So far our brokers have pushed for more money to invest to be able to trade depositing ×3. Schwab vs Fidelity, These can be great brokerage accounts. How can you talk this entire presentation teaching new users of these platforms and not mention expense ratios and fees? Long term investors accepting the extreme higher cost of 90% of available funds from Fidelity or Schwab result in negative compounding investor returns. At least include a caution statement of cost comparison.

On top of that when was the last time you looked at what Fidelity and Schwab had to offer? They have many low cost funds and Fidelity even has a whole class of zero funds. Other than that, thank for your comment and have a good day.
Hi, thanks for asking. We actually did a video about Acorns vs Robinhood awhile ago. We don't often speak about them because we like to have more options and control than they give their customers. Robinhood is not the most trustworthy place to invest long-term. Also, the business isn't making reliable money. Sometimes they are deep in debt other times they are booming in profits. Their core business relies on customers to day trade frequently, which most people lose money doing.
