@@Procrastipainter I actually tried that last night after watching some videos…and I failed again! So I wiped them off and finally found yours today and figured out what I was doing wrong. So I’m going to see which ones I can fix and which ones are frisbees 😂
Well.... different temperatures give different looks. I have mine at about half heat, but it'll depend on your resin/ pigment/ humidity/ room temp etc etc. Some resin can take more heat than others, some scorch really quickly. No easy answer, you kinda need to find your own personal Goldielocks conditions
Love your videos. I normally use Castin craft. I bought JR white pigment but after i torched it looks like cells are rough and powder looking. The cells are big and the shape is not great. Do you think i used too much pigment? Or is there another reason for this?
Awesome!! Looked pretty seamless! What kind of heat setting is your heat gun on, when you blow the waves out? Do you use the high air, or low air? I am dying to try this technique and hopefully I won't botch it too badly!!!
@@Procrastipainter Thank you so much! All of your stuff is so beautiful! I know that even though you make this look real easy, I'm certain mine is probably not going to go as well... at least at first!!!
Thanks for your kind words 🥰 I think the major thing for success is catching the resin at the right time. Thick enough to hold the cells but thin enough to move it in the first place. Once you have that figured out you'll do great!
Beautiful!! I love both white 😊💕
Thanks 😁
Beautiful, they both look great 💙💙💙
They are pretty similar, aren't they
@@Procrastipainter most definitely 💙🌊🤗
They’re both so similar. Awesome job as always. ❤️
They are pretty similar aren't they. Thanks 💙
Very helpful. Thank you! ♥️
Thanks for watching!
Wow very similar. If you have the LeRez Angel white, I would love to see that comparison too. Thanks for doing the comparisons, very helpful.
Thanks 🥰 I'll have to look up LeRez... is it Aus or USA brand?
It's Australian, I think she's in Sydney. It's very popular that's why I ask.
Oooh I will have to check it out, thanks for the tip! Man I'm gonna have every white in the world *laughs maniacally*
Mmm very similar but I think the JR is my pick
Subtly different, aren't they
I love your videos! Im trying to create some nice frothy waves for the first time today 🙈 I need all the help I can get!
Thanks 😁 best of luck with your first try!
This is an awesome example! And thank you for pointing out that you waited 30+ minutes before using the heat gun. I think I’ve found my problem!!!!
Thanks for your kind words 🥰 and good luck with waiting! I have to leave the room so I don't keep fussing with it 😄
@@Procrastipainter well with all of the pieces I’ve ruined not realizing I needed to wait… I’ll use them as frisbees while I wait lol
Hahaha aww nooo! Do another layer on them and use the layer you don't like for adding depth 😄
Or just frisbee away 😝

Ohhh so frustrating!! If you wait for your resin to be more like cold honey, it will hold the cells better 😉
Beautiful...JR is best
Thanks 😊
Does the heat gun need to be at a certain temperature?

Not much difference. I would be happy with either here. I am trying Angel White next when I can afford it. Thank you. 🌸
They are pretty close, aren't they? Who does angel white?

Do you think you might have got the torch too close at all? Mine go powdery/ foggy if I add too much heat or re-work the same area more than just once
@@Procrastipainter I will be careful to not too much heat next time. Thank you for your advice! can’t wait your next video!
I hope that's what your problem was! Thanks 😁

Thank you 🥰 my heat gun is on about half heat, low air flow. Try on something small (like a 4x4 inch tile) till you get the hang of it 👍

Beautiful🥰.How much do you use epoxy?2:1 ? 3:1
Thanks 😁 the DiamondCote resin is 1:1
@@Procrastipainter thank bro🤗🤗
What temp is your heat gun set?
It's on about half heat. Temp range is 50-600C
