WOW! Tried that walleye bake tonight, it’s fantastic. Made 2 changes, first I added thinly sliced fresh garden potatoes to the recipe and second, I made it with 2 walleye instead of one, ha ha.... Good thing cause it’s all gone!!! Really enjoyed it, thanks...
great video I really enjoyed it. also found it funny that I go through the same process when frying up fish, first fries and chicken for the wife, then the fish for me and the kids.
Awesome videos. Nice to see videos on lakes I fish. I’d love seeing a video with you showing all your rod setups for different applications for pike and walleye.
Hey Clayton ! Walleye Bites looking bomb diggity brother , LOTP topwater Walters ? who woulda thunk it ? Cindy is so chill and soft spoken , she sure can put fish in the boat when needed I bet . Cool beans !
Great video man! That recipe looks awesome, definitely gonna try it. Who knew walleye where that aggressive in shallow water in the dead heat of summer.
Who'd give this video a thumbs down? Jealous hater.... another banger Clayton, absolutely love your videos and the fact you spend so much quality time with Cindy. She's a lucky lady to have you in her life ☺️ cheers buddy 🍻
Another great episode dude! No secret that lots of walleyes are shallow in weeds all summer but who knew they'd bite topwater baits! Cool! Question for you - why don't you buy left-handed bait casters? Or vice versa - why don't you set up your spinning reels on the right? Why do change sides for difference reels?
cindy seems like a nice lady! I can tell she is a little shy (no hate intended), but I can relate cause im also quite shy, anyways always a great day when clayton uploads! have a super day clay!
You should do a little show and tell with your rod/reel/line/leader setups for each targeted species! I know there's tons of videos out there on it but to each their own right? Awesome vid again.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Shit yeah! Looking forward to it. Been putting some of your tips and tricks to use this summer already and just general information and conservation!
Thanks, i am hoping to get one top water fish before winter because it gets pretty difficult after November lol. I had a small walleye take a swipe at a frog 2 weeks about but missed.
Clayton: I caught my biggest walleye ever on a muskie bucktail. I've caught others while muskie fishing. I've had walleye follow my muskie lure to the boat even. Point being, next time the walleye bite is slow and you're struggling rather than downsizing even more and trying out finesse the fish go the opposite direction and throw a lure that's big and fast. Go for the reaction strike rather than the lite finesse bite. If nothing else is working what do have to lose?
When you get good at one thing try another? No man, master it. Become the best. I fish for walleye specific cause that’s what wins money and tastes best. I’m not wasting my time with perch or Cisco lol
As always I love anything Clayton puts out. Was it just me or was he laying out all the reasons why he would be a great angeler for the next 39 hours season...?I heard him say multiple times to be a versitile fishermen. Just saying!
Isnt that strange, is that even legal to catch a walleye on whopper plopper. Last year in mid summer I caught a 25" walleye from shore on a texas rigged Berkley havoc. I thought that was strange at the time. Hahaha
I’d say the only time being a “one species” guy is fairly acceptable is if you fish professionally. Outside of that I pride myself on catching a multitude of different species across fresh and salt water.
Yes, and no... You want to become a better angler even in the professional side you would be wise to learn the art of everything else... You never know what you can bring over. Cheers man!
It’s refreshing to see a RUclips fisherman that actually knows how’s to cook do Catch N Cooks. Nicely done.
I do love to cook on the open fire!
I've been with you since the beginning and you keep getting better and better! Love all your videos! Keep it up!
I like these vids of the two of you fishing and camping!
If I can't guide we will be doing more of this in the summer :)

Have to be... Always have stuff to learn!!

Got to say that's some of the best fish I've ever had
I love how you know you just poured the oil in the fire. :)

Haters gonna hate! All is good :)
Master chef! You’re a pretty good fisherman, too.
Average at both ;)
Another awesome video Clayton thank you hey what kind of long handled Pan is that you’re cooking the fish and chicken in?

I do own some left handed reels as well. I just have use a bait caster that way for a long time...
Damn! I’ve had that. Delicious!!!
Hi from Chicago...Tim & Denise
Love this video etc etc. what rod reel combo are you using during this? Thank Clayton keep her up.
Keep it up loving the videos
Thank you for watching!
I love your Videos! Keep it up.
That is a nice good rod my favourite one I own

Nailed it!! Cheers man!!
Nipawin on the river this summer has been hot for walleye. Average size has been around 5lbs
Love that river!! I don't get there enough!
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors I am heading there in 2 weeks with my family. Hopefully my son will get his first fish
There is actually a topwater walleye bite here in Tennessee a certain time of the year.

Ya I really want to do like daily gear videos... Think I am going to in-cooperate some new series soon...
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Shit yeah! Looking forward to it. Been putting some of your tips and tricks to use this summer already and just general information and conservation!
Hey clayton it looks like you just do a steady retrieval with the whooper but do you ever switch up the cadence with it?
Pike seem to prefer the steady retrieval... You can do some small bursts but they do not like when it stops...

Can't beat it!
Clayton that looked great till the pineapple 😝
HAH!! I knew someone would say that for sure!! Love it!!
Where can a guy get a pan with the long handle like that?
Ur the man.
Cheers!
-catches walleye on top water, “I should change lures” Love it!!!
My thoughts were there are probably more Walleye up on the hump and I could really level them with a jerk bait :)
Isn’t it every fisherman’s worst enemy, catching what you weren’t expecting, makes you question so much! Keep killin it with the vids!
I've heard of some walleye hitting topwater. I've never experienced it personally, but would love the chance
I have only seen it twice now... Last time was way up north though...
Nice
That topwater walleye was crazy!!
So crazy!!
Clayton Alberta has a few good walleye lakes aswell
I bet it does!! Need to get there one day!
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors pm me on Instagram ill tell you one of the best walleye lakes in the county let alone alberta

Big follows eh... my favorite RUclipsr taught me to do a checkmark when that happens better than a figure 8 for pike. You should try it out.
Boondocker hahahaha. I love it.
What lake is this?
He tells you in the video
Gotta love those weed walleyes
