I thought I was the only one who loved this song so much..Guess I was really wrong..Takes me back to the late 70's in college..Now 65 y/o and retired!! Great song❤
This song is TIMELESS! I can play any of their tracks but “A Love of Your Own” and “Queen of My Soul” are in a different stratosphere! Quality Music at it’s finest!!
Yessir or mam, indeed. A crown jewel. He was an amazing vocalist. Such a sweet super caring person from what I was told. I met a arm forces contract band that played backup for AWB
My sister used to wear this song.... Out!!( On the record player) I didn't mind it one bit, because I dug it.... and still dig it now!! I thank God for the era in which I grew up in !!!!!
OMG......Hamish! This has a sweet flowing funk rock sound...that crawls inside your soul and just hangs on for the ride!! I'm 78 and still love the groovein'.....youth of today never heard this musical heartbeat! Keep it up AWB......great when Hamish, Alan, Steve, Freddy , and originals all there. 🎶❣🎷🎸🎶
I'm right there with you Nancy...AWB is my favorite group of all time. I saw them in concert in late 70's or early 80's and the atmosphere was electric...the best concert I've ever attended. I'm now 68 and I rarely visit RUclips without listening to them. It takes me back to great times and even better music unlike most of the crap being played today. This was and is authentic music...when music meant something. I think you forgot to list one member, the incomparable Molly Duncan on sax.
@@claireluvstotravel4752 You are right Claire. I did miss listing Molly Duncan. He was backbone of their funk sound and sax is my favorite instrument for a music group. Molly left the group with Hamish and went to England performing at the 606 club there if remember correctly. Molly has passed and that was a very sad day to lose that great sax player.🎷 my very favorite AWB song is....." Cloudy" on People to People album . It was recorded live with audience in 1977 st Montreux jazz festival in Canada. Hamish out sings himself in this one. You have to hear it on the live albumb I stated. It's amazing. Merry bristmas Clair. 🎄🕊❄🎄
Saw AWB at the Keswick in Glenside with TOP and again at Humpreys in SanDiego again with TOP...had a meet and greet after the Keswick show...what a great group of musicians and gentlemen...they made my girlfriend and I feel like they were honored to have us in attendance... great band, great funk and greater people...made me thankful that i am a life long fan.
One of my favorite songs, and the only time i've seen a video of them performing it. But the video is out of sync with the audio. So i'd give it a thumbs down.
remembering my mother with this music of her favorites almost 2 years ago after her departure, and this being the last song that she spent listening to a whole day before her departure! always i love you mom.💕💕💕
What's funny is I sent my sons this video, as they were forced to listen to my music all their childhood lives, and they both were like, this is a WHITE guy!!!
The Spanish translation is very inaccurate. AWB is singing to the art form of music being "the queen of my soul." Anyway, still a great song from about 50 years ago by a tremendous band! Hamish, Alan, Onnie, Mollie, Roger and Steve!
*" Décima de " hubo"* Si hubo en la eternidad un momento, que los dedos de tu pie rozaran mi muslo al rodearte por no pelear. NOBODY but Hamish Stuart can sing this song it's so BEAUTIFUL!
This generation will not understand what true soul is; it has no color, no creed, just the pure essence of melodic ecstacy.
FACTS Bro! Real music will speak to you! Nothing else matter but the groove!
Man you're so damn right.
👍 Wow! Words of wisdom, words of wisdom!' 🎶🔑
I thought I was the only one who loved this song so much..Guess I was really wrong..Takes me back to the late 70's in college..Now 65 y/o and retired!! Great song❤
I fell in love with this song from the first time I heard it
Hamish was sure able to hit those high note on cue! Blue-eyed soul at it's best.
One of my all time favorite songs!!! Peace & Love.
This song is TIMELESS! I can play any of their tracks but “A Love of Your Own” and “Queen of My Soul” are in a different stratosphere! Quality Music at it’s finest!!

A song that praises music! This is one of my favorite lyrical messages for a song.
The Mighty James Hamish Stuart!
Loved the AWB for 46 years now. First heard them in 1974 aged 15, I'm 61 now and have EVERYTHING there ever recorded. Prefer the original line up.
Saw them playing the white album before the drummer died. Abs genius,
Me tooooo
That one in a million voice, James Hamish Stuart!
Hamish is still my baby.
Yessir or mam, indeed. A crown jewel. He was an amazing vocalist. Such a sweet super caring person from what I was told. I met a arm forces contract band that played backup for AWB
That told me he was the type of person that if he saw me with my saxophone he would ask me to pull it out and play it for him.
Yes sir ant no doubt about it. He had a beautiful timber. I think he took his voice box to heights above the limit. But in control.
Still LOVE these Guy's 💙⚘🎵🎶
you believe us now that music was so much better back in the day period

Saw AWB at the Keswick in Glenside with TOP and again at Humpreys in SanDiego again with TOP...had a meet and greet after the Keswick show...what a great group of musicians and gentlemen...they made my girlfriend and I feel like they were honored to have us in attendance... great band, great funk and greater people...made me thankful that i am a life long fan.
Soberbia, Reina de mi Alma, hizo la diferencia de aquel bello año 1976, Claro que si.
How can anyone give AWB thumbs down!
One of my favorite songs, and the only time i've seen a video of them performing it. But the video is out of sync with the audio. So i'd give it a thumbs down.

If you find out, let us know.
Lame dub to the studio version. Come on dude
