You can buy a Nissan Elgrande grey import from Japan from the late 1900's I have a 4 WD 3.5 ltr Autotec Rider That was equal to this and only cost $16000 . The same as Nissan spots cars and drives like a sports car. We have turned ours into a luxury camper with a queen 8:12 size bed and two fridges , portaloo for nights, shower tent on roof rack ,side awning and tent and we managed to keep two rear seats as bed folds up with mattress in place just saying before you spend that sort of money😁
The Lexus LM series are globally available (including in Australia), it is not really "JDM" like Toyota Alphard (only available in select Asian countries). Plus the LM is first launched in China for some reason. In Asia, there is a LM series that only has 2 back seats in first class style (no 3rd rows). It is just ridiculously luxurious. There are also the generously sized Nissan Elgrand or the sophisticated Honda Elysion if you want import alternatives, but only Elgrand continues on, as Elysion becomes the latest oversized Odyssey.
LM was launched in China because Shanghai Macau and Hongkong are its biggest markets. They have many minivans in those places but many people still choose the Alphard and the LM for the prestige factor anyaway.
holy cow! was about to say remove the whole cover of the center glove box by opening both sidewards at the same time but I then found out you guys are not fully matured adults.
I dont get it why those testes celebrate that van so much. It is so poorly and inconvenient designed, I wouldnt know where to start. Well, lets start with the third row seats - what went through the heads of those designers? "Lets see how everyone else does it... looks to convenient! Lets fuck it up?" And then being a Van and only seats for six? WTF? Unusual little amount of storage place and then those reviewers have the audacity to ask wether to care that this van has so lil - WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT IN A VAN! For christ sake
This is a luxury van. It's not supposed to be practical for that amount of passengers. The same can be said about super cars that have unusable back seats, and also a limousine like Maybach that make a car so large only for 2 back passengers. That's why the focus on the seating is for those 2 rear seats. The other 2 are just for added practicality. It's purpose built for rich people. You don't ask the same question for an SUV for 6 seating are you when the size is nearly the same. This van is a more logical choice than any SUV ever made.
That is one of the fugliest things I have ever seen both inside and out just because it wears a lexus badge its still nothing more that an pimped up Tarago !

This car will go from airport, to hotel, to airport, to conference, to hotel, to squeezing through the maccas drive thru to airport.
Spot on.
So do my Mitsubishi Mirage 2000
You could even see the paint shimmer when you rubbed the hood badge. Very nice.
Vans will be the new SUV. Once you go van you'll never go back. Well done Lexus.
really?
@@Nikku_GyuGyu same with me. can't ever go back to anything else other than my 4 seat config Toyota Estima.
I switched my van to SUV last year. Not able to take my kids exploring the beautiful nature with a van.
America: SUVs will be the new sedan.
I’m American… 🥲

Reminds me of the dust buster vans from GM back in the 90’s. The a pillar really reminds me of them.

THE LEXUS VELLFIRE
So is it Lexus LM > Toyota Alphard > Toyota Vellfire in terms of luxury?
Used Gen 2 Alphard is still nice though, around $30,000 to $40,000 here in Indonesia, that's like 1/10 of the price of this Lexus
"My Tarago is mid-engined" meets "My LM350h has a GR Corolla gauge cluster." :)
happy with my Elgrand, tempted to import an e-power Serena though
I have no kids and don't even have 7 friends to put in this thing but jeez I want it.
Holy cow they did it. Those guys realllly did it. They made a Straight Pipes photoshop IRL!!!
One of your funniest reviews 👍
Runs laps around a B L O O D Y H I L U X and I'd recon it's more reliable too!
If you love those wipers so much you should do an ad for them!

you guys sounds alike I thought you're talking to yourself.
Is this a Rebadged Alphard?
Kinda. More of an upscale Alphard rather than just mere rebadge because Lexus is Toyota but fancier
Is the extra money spend it worth it. We get alphard in India, maybe lexus will launch this in India. Should I wait. Will be for my dad
How old are these guys
Imagine putting a ps5 best road trip ever
man i wished they brought this to 'merica
Did I hear a FART lol? 😅😅😂😂
Who buys a Lexus when you can get Alphard \ Velfure half of the price with all luxuries
Sometimes price matters.
In Indonesia, used 2nd gen Alphard is 1/10 of the price 😅
The same reason people buy any Lexus over a Toyota 🙄
I bet I won’t see one on the road only parked up in the showroom 😂
With how many Alphards roll around in Asian countries, this Lexus variant probably will pop up seldomly too
Should find a chance fly to China to test out those Chinese EV MPV, those are the real insane ones. Like Zeeker 009, Xpeng X9 or Denza D9.
Yes, saw one being reviewed on wheels boy channel in China. The Denza. Amazing vehicle.
@@sithabelamandlawenkosiwodu6298 Wheels Boy has a lot of great videos of Chinese EVs.

0:52 the stereotypical Asian bowing is quite embarrassing... when you bow, you put your hands beside you, not some silly hands together thing
@carsauce, hey a straight to the point video would be much more useful. Please consider!
No thanks!

FFS Jacob, Christina Perri will be rolling around in her grave!

All these luxury Japanese minivans are so ugly
Really? I think it's pretty nice for a van that size.
Alien?

This isn't your traditional van. It's a van made for luxury, so you can expect compromises in practicality. Duh.
You need to use the spell check.
How did you guys respond to this comment when I couldn't understand anything?
