This flash is insane. Love the integration of the wireless trigger, what a shame other companies don't throw that in. Loved how these photos came out, and seems like it's the perfect throw distance for street portraits.

Man, her personality really lit up when the shoot was done. Kind of unfortunate because during the shoot I was feeling like she was a bit uninspired I suppose. Oh well. This a great camera for street photography. I love the B&W and the SNAP functionality. Excellent camera to have in your pocket all the time. I am a PENTAX user with several Pentax cameras. The SNAP is very useful for street use. I have the GRii but it has more than the wifi. Gracias por el review!

Really appreciate your videos . I swear I'm going to steal elements from you if I ever do some. Glad you had a chance to try out the Ricoh GR. I bought a used one from eBay a year ago and fell in love with it, despite it not having a viewfinder, which was one of the two reasons I let it go to another owner via eBay a few months later. The other was I found out I do not like the 28mm field of view. But other than that, it is by far the best camera I have ever used in terms of how it handles. I WISH all camera manufacturers tried designing like this or making a design improvement on the Ricoh GRs.
And keep this secret for me: I'm buying that flash. Thanks for the overview. I like the design of that flash a lot.

The GR is grand, snap focus is genius. I sold mine because I prefer film for snapshots. Ricoh ... re-make the GR1 pretty please.

Hey ed how are you? i was just gonna ask about the film comparison video you posted yesterday. Cant seem to find it, but im pretty sure i saw an agfa 400 film in the thumbnail. i was going to go buy films today. And agfa is kinda expensive here. if you recommend it in the lost video, ill buy some today. (Not everyday i can go to filmshop)
I have actually never done a video comparing films. Maybe it was another channel you are also subscribed to? If you don't shoot that much film, pretty much all films will work for you. Buy different ones and have fun. :)

What settings di you use in camera , for this flash? You shoot on manual mode?

This camera is not for video. It is mostly for street photography. It is an excellent camera for its purpose.

I'm going to be picking this Q20 II up for my new GR III and Leica M kit when B&H gets stock. Right now I'm using a godox from my Fuji kit and though it will fire when I'm shooting with a flash in M on the GR the screen is to dark to see the subjects. What setting do you use with the flash? Thanks

Thanks for the video. But how do you set up the flash manually in terms of ISO, aperture, time. Usually you have a scale on the back of the flash, which tells the distance the flash works at a given ISO, aperture and time. How does this work on this flash?
Hi Eduardo. I love your photos from the shoot, particularly the first one. I've never used flash but really want to buy the Q20 II. When shooting against bright sunlight like in your shot at 4:01, do I need high speed sync or a leaf shutter camera to achieve that look you got where you've made the subject stand out against the ambient light or will a slow shutter speed be ok? My sony a6600 camera only syncs to 1/160. Thanks.

Hi there! Nice review of this little flash! I have it too together with a Ricoh GR but encountered two problems:1) the white diffuser give a pink coloring when flashing at power >= 1/322) the flash on camera (ricoh gr) does not cover all the frame, below an horizontal shadow remains in the picture. I suppose that this is due to the fact the the ricoh gr is 28mm equiv. Vs 32mm equivalent coverage by the flash.
