Beautiful granddaughter. Enjoyed all your comments about planning your painting. Paint what you need - not what you see and the magic comes from the lost and found edges. So beautifully show in your painting. I paint in watercolor and the backgrounds I struggle with. Now I know what to do. Thank you Sir.

Dear Mr. Lustenouwer, once again you have created a video that has taken my breath away. Your beautiful granddaughter, playing as your muse, reminds me so much of my, now adult daughter, when she was this age. I am amazed how you achieved so much movement in your painting. I had the feeling that you just caught her in the midst of her dance...so precious!
OBTW, at the very beginning of your video when you said, “I have a red door, but I don’t want to paint it black”, I started to laugh so hard to find out that not only are you a Master Painter, but a Rolling Stones fan as well. May God bless you for your continued generosity of the spirit. May He also bless and keep you and your family safe during these unsettling times.🙏🏼

My first of several views of the video.
Good eyes. Seeing the shapes, the flow .
I have several just like her. One of them intimidates me . I get her right about every third time. I really struggle with a face this size. Doing something wrong. Maybe too much detail early.
Thank you for allowing us to see the shapes. Really impressive art she will appreciate fifty years from now. It will hangin her house.

Thank you so much, am binge watching, taking notes while setting up an area to sketch and then paint. So I now know what to sketch with, charcoal, and fixative, what fixative do you use that won’t bleed or disintegrate the oil paint? This is my starting trouble- what and how to sketch on the canvas or hardboard. I have gessoed hardboard and then used oil based ground over the gesso, and now going to sketch. Thank you again, donated, want to make a small one monthly. Blessings!
