The JB WELD gag was top notch dad joke stuff 😂 full commitment to have it all recorded 😂 More importantly SUPER COOL video man! That is an awesome piece of machinery!! Thanks for sharing bud!
I was digging through drawers looking for my anti-seize when I came across the JB weld. At first I thought "that would be bad", and then I thought "that would be funny". 🤣
I googled JB weld and seize because I thought well I never heard of that and if he actually used JB Weld this was going to end badly. I was worried until you showed the tube 😂
I've also heard somebody mention using a combo of wd40 and grease and sticking it in the spindle head and using and air gun to get it further up... Apparently a haas tech told him this.
hey man! i'm working on a tormach 1100m that I upgraded to a bt30 spindle and servo motors for the 1100m+. One thing that I noticed that might be the cause of your issue is the very top set of your spring washers looks like one isn't on correctly. there should be a gap between the washers that isn't there... actually... it sort of looks like your missing one washer. lol there should be 8 sets of washers and it looks like you have 7 sets and one extra... maybe need that other spring washer. LMAO that jb weld gag was golden

Nice explanation on how the power drawbar works. I am a new Pcnc 1100 owner, so I appreciate it. The JB weld gag got me.. I was yelling at the screen!
Delivery was perfect.
