Can you ask Titan if we (Mainly I) can see more Mill/Turn machining? I feel like it's the undiscovered neck of the woods and doesn't get much love or attention when we do some crazy intricate parts!
when are you guy's gonna try some mcd insert in aluminium in those machine's ? i like to see what finish such a rigid machine and tool holding ( we got awesome in our weak with basic vice's. so can only imagin the finish on those machines )

I’m in the oil and gas industry and we mill a lot of round parts using a 4th axis like stabilizer blades on a helix, do yall do any tutorials on how yall program 4th axis work?

@@frankn8151 Ahhhh, unfortunately it probably won't. We program all of our 4 and 5 axis work in Mastercam multiaxis.....

What's your finish setting like on the KOR5? That's a nice looking part.
Very nice! Was that the very first time you ran that code? Can you get a perfect result like that without any "fine tuning" or broken cutters? I always inevitably seem to have chatter somewhere that needs to be tuned out or I break a cutter (or 2) or I have to experiment with different tool paths etc. I am still learning so I was wondering if this is like an "Instagram" version or did you actually nail it the first time?
Even if they had a perfect program ready from part one, it's because they have a gigantic backlog of different jobs with these tools and that material.
Keep a notebook, mark what has worked, and maybe even what completely failed, you'll get there.
How can I become a CNC expert? Please suggest me.
Do you live in europe or the USA... or any other part of the world?
In Europe, I'd suggest an Aprenticeship to Industrial Mechanic, or Maschinist.
In the USA... go to a Machine shop, tell them you want to work for them and learn the craft and try your best to better yourself every day.

Apprenticeship route the best way to go, hopefully at a machine shop that will teach you as much about the cad/cam side as much as the machining side. Research local companies in your area, check out their websites for Apprenticeship advertisements etc, failing that write a letter to each one asking if they do apprenticeships. Even better go into their receptions and ask face to face, bosses do like seeing some drive and a will to learn. This is a trade of experience where you learn from the mistakes and it can be stressful, shift work etc.
And always wear your safety specs, I've had my eyes picked more times than I am comfortable with.

Why don't use a HPC Strategy? Full depth, 75% stepover. That's aluminium and the machine is German quality not an instable american Haas.
Also i have never heard about any negative effects that occurre due to dynamic milling. Ever heard that short stroke movements will harm your linear ways and ball screws because the grease film will not be strong enough? That mainly happens to the Z Axis because of the small retract moves between the cuts. But who cares if you do pay zero to none for the machine. Teach it the right way with pros and cons..
I think its because the lighter cut is easier on the tool life.
@hectordominguez7143 man that's aluminium. The tool will run for years.. The only thing that will wear out is your machine
@simsonschrauber05 I agree it is aluminum but that tool is not designed for such a heavy step over at full depth. Also, with that large of a step over you are more likely to encounter tool deflection that can affect your finish.

Sorry, we were at the annual conference and electing new leadership positions, then something about a school bus full of puppies that had a bomb that couldn’t go under 60mph or it would explode and then something else about Nicholas Cage and a fruit smoothie, we’ve been busy and it’s been a blur. But thank you for thinking of us.
