2:49 Daleks are made of Davro's DNA, specially the new ones, Davros said in a episode with 10th and the gang drive the Tardis that he re made them with his own cells, so makes sense that the Daleks don't see him as a impure being like every other life form and they also keep him around because he can sometimes prevent extinction being a pure Dalek-DNA bank and stuff.
for the sharpening stick line at 2:18 ish I know 11 says "let's go and poke it with a stick" in Amy's Choice.

I like how this possibly ties into the episode where River meets up with the Dalek in the museum & it begs for mercy.
My theory is the infusion of Timelord energy changed the Daleks Genetically just enough to allow for Clara to be able to have it say mercy.
This newly acquired concept & ability is now part & parcel of every Dalek & is what allows for the one River kills to cry Mercy.
I just think it would be a neat tie in if this is the case
I think it was the Doctor saving Davros as a kid that allowed the Daleks to understand mercy, even if they don't practice it.

17:58 That's curious because if i remember well in a episode with 9th, the Dalek that the Doctor was torturing asked him for mercy as well, i don't know if this was meant to be a call back to that but i love it.
It's not that they care about Davros it's that. in this case, it's strategically wise to keep him around.
It's so good to know that the waiting for the reactions was worth it.

What? This is weird, at 15:29 something happens with the audio that kills my receiver/stereo amplifier. Audio cuts out and a big flashing "PROTECT" warning message starts blinking on the display. The only way to get audio back is to turn it off and on again. I've rewound past that point several times and every time at the exact same point there's some kind of peak and clip in the sound and the amplifier goes down on protection mode.
