34:05 When I first saw this episode and heard him say that, I cried and said "I never thought I'd see you again, either." I got so emotional.

I've adored these episodes too, and it's lovely to share them with you. Quite the emotional rollercoaster really. Thanks for reacting!

Greetings from England! A lovely reaction video, I too cried when Wilf turned up, Bernard Cribbins was a major part of my tv childhood in the 60's and 70s, so his passing last year was very sad, but he has left us with a tremendous body of work to enjoy. If you've not seen it yet, check out the 1970 film The Railway Children, Bernard has a wonderful role in that.

Thank you for the suggestion 💜 I think have heard of that one, that’s what he was originally known for right? I’m not sure. Thank you for watching and sharing your love of Bernard 💜🙏🏻

I concur with "Blink" and "The Girl in the Fireplace" as two go tos, both Steven Moffat, a Scottish television writer, television producer and screenwriter.

Yes, I too have felt its been too long since I saw an episode this good. Its not that I hated the Chibnall era, just that I found it serially disappointing. Several good ideas but kept not sticking the landing. These three RTD2 episodes have been much better at realising their potential. Regarding Bernard Cribbins, if you want to see some of his earlier work, see if you can track down The Wombles (an animated children's series that he narated) or one of his many episodes of Jackanory (where celebrities read childrens books). He was a much loved presence throughout my childhood in the 1970s here in the UK. RIP.

Don't ever tone it down, it's all good! 😀 sorry about your concussion, dunno what happened there but here's to hoping you're ok and will do the reaction to The Giggle? 👍

I have filmed the reaction, but my initial reaction/opinions were a bit controversial or unpopular probably. I’ve since seen a lot of other people’s reactions and theories and opinions and such which has shifted my perspective a bit. But yeah I’m a little nervous about uploading my reaction since I wasn’t totally on board with the ending and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. So 🤷🏼‍♀️ I haven’t edited it yet. I’m not sure if/when I will, but we’ll see.
And thanks for the concern about my concussion 🙏🏻 I am okay ish 😂 Still having daily headaches and trying to reconcile with the possibility that I need to take some weeks away from screens to recover. I’m trying to get videos prepared and scheduled for that, but I’m not sure if I’ll have it in me to do enough editing before I need to stop.
Sorry for the long response 😅

@@thestarsthemselves. My reactions on watching the episode were pretty interesting also (my neighbours would probably be able to tell you 😅). I say run with the video you've made, or maybe add a short clip at the start explaining how your view might changed a bit. I hope to see it anyway 😎.
So you hit your head on a screen and that's why you need to have time away from them? 😆

Hope you're feeling better since the concussion. I noticed your channel description... Just curious if seizures? Guessing maybe that due to me having seizures and frequently exhausted and in major pain that lasts for weeks after the big ones. Luckily I crumple rather than fall, but I know many that have had injuries like that from falls.
If that's not your reasoning, oh good, but definitely curious and care.
    Take care! 💙💙

Thank you for the concern! Very kind of you. Thankfully, I don’t have seizures and never have had them. The concussion was from standing up under a solid shelf on a wall 😅😭🤦🏼‍♀️ And I’m recovered from it now 🙏🏻

Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved
Peter Capaldi is in the video. His first cousin twice removed is singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi. The two worked together on one of the video versions for "Someone You Loved" made in partnership with the charity organisation Live Life Give Life in order to raise awareness for the issue of organ donation. I suspect you may have seen the video.

I haven’t seen anyone who didn’t get upset at seeing Wilf.
Slight aside, what do you paint as I see you have a good selection of artists brushes?

I have many artistic hobbies that I engage in occasionally. Those brushes I bought a while back for my bullet journal, which I used to paint in for fun.

Btw I just wanted to say, what you said at 42:10 about looking up at the stars and thinking of Bernard Cribbins...that was so special for you to say that (and it completely broke me!). You 100% get it, and that's a beautiful thing. 🥲
