A huge compliment. Making food for others is a way I love people, so its always nice when the food I've prepared is a winner all around :). Thank you. May yours be blessed as well.
Those blueberry rolls look amazing!! Central PA gal here and I am also blessed to be able to purchase from Amish/Mennonite stores. Loving your videos... thanks!
I just found your channel and enjoy it. That box looks like the box my local Mennonite store offers (we are in northwest Lancaster County). I really need to get some - my husband wants blueberry pie and I think he’d like the blueberry syrup as well.
Thank you, I’m so glad! Blueberry pie filling , yum! I may be canning some of that as well. Nothing like summer fruit pie in the middle of winter! Thanks for watching 🤍
Oh yummy! This all looks so good. I am going to make those blueberry rolls but with strawberry jam 😊 I have two hives with beautiful honey bees just a-buzzin all around. The honey is so glorious and I will be harvesting a ton of it next month and it will be my main source of sugar. I am going to make some jams with it as well. Thanks for this great video. I just love your videos❤❤
Hi Kelsey, I love your videos!!! I don't know how you do it. I have one 3 yr old and she won't let me out of her sight for a second . How do you get it all done?
I'm on south central PA too. Do you mind sharing the store you got the blueberries at. I have not found any good deals yet on them. The place I go don't have a good harvest they are buying and reselling so ik they were overpriced 😂 we still bought a quart but the kids have almost ate them already.
What keeps flies out the best is a closed window. That's a tall cinnamon container, lol. You need long teaspoons. No need for a recipe for jam and syrup. Just some universal guidelines. It's always the same, except with red/white currants that have tannins. If you use a big liquids funnel (with a long tube), a clean fill with nothing on the rims can be achieved. Does sugar begin to taste different at 230°Freedom? I know that holding it at 248° for a while with citric acid makes it taste like fruit without any fruit (golden syrup). How do you clean the Nut Milk Bag so it doesn't taste like the previous product? Can you bake the rolled bread whole and cut it later? It looks similar to what I had eaten, except it had cinnamon and cream inside. Try Black Currants!
Wow Kelsey, those lemon blueberry rolls look amazing. Two questions, did you use fresh milled flour and could you taste the lemon? Really enjoyed this one, thanks for doing what you do!
Thank you ☺️ It was store bought AP. I have a surplus I’m working through that needs used first. Yes to tasting the lemon! If you really like lemon you could add lemon juice to the filling and icing too ☺️
We have zero Amish or Mennonite communities or stores here unfortunately. We do have tons of upick/picked berry farms here though! We picked 55 lbs of organic blueberries, I've made blueberry pie filling and blueberry butter. I've frozen 40 lbs and have a few lbs left to do something with.
I had it stored in the fridge for a day before I made it. I think this jam because it’s no pectin is just a tad runny! But it’s ok, still works and tastes great!
Grant always steals the show
Ahhh the sweet taste of summer. Thanks for sharing these recipes!
My pleasure 😊 thank you!
Omgoodness those buns look delish and I will definitely be trying them. Thanks so much for another beautiful video🇨🇦🌷
Thank you so much! Enjoy 🤍
It says a lot when the family request a new recipe to be a part of the regular rotation of homemade goods! Well done. May your day be blessed. 🤗

Omg, the filled jars are beautiful and the rolls look so yummy. Your so talented and very relaxing to watch🤗
Thank you so much, I’m so glad to hear it 🤍🤍🤍
Yummy.
We live in southeastern PA (on the cusp of Montgomery and Berks counties)…
This looks very similar to my cinnamon buns. These look really good ❤
Ok, berks county is not too far! These are exactly that. I took my cinnamon roll recipe and altered it ☺️
Bravo!!! I'm trying this.
Thank you! Enjoy 🤍
All of these recipes sound and look amazing! Thank you for sharing them with us!
Thank you! Enjoy 🤍
I loved it. I have to try it. ❤😋
Thank you, enjoy! 🤍

I made this, it's so yummy 😋 now I'm going to try the syrup 😋
It is! I’m so glad I made this one, the syrup is super yummy too! Enjoy ☺️
Hi Kelsey, I love your videos!!! I don't know how you do it. I have one 3 yr old and she won't let me out of her sight for a second . How do you get it all done?
❤
Yum. What did you do with the crushed blueberries from the syrup? I was thinking you could maybe freeze it and use it in smoothies. ❤
Thanks! Yes, that’s exactly what I did, you could also make and can some blueberry butter!
@@seedandsparrowhomestead great idea!
Looks amazing so using tractor flavoring must be the secret! LOL
Haha! Must be it! Thanks for watching ☺️
❤❣
I really want a blueberry compote but I can’t find a canning recipe. Could you combine those 2 recipes and have a syrup with fruit in it?
I personally don’t ever combine recipes or alter so I’d wouldn’t do that, but I’ve got lots of approved recipes I can look through for you!
I don't have a thermometer. How do I know if the syrup is thick enough?

I got these from Hornings Market in Bethel PA. If you know of a local farmers market, that’s a good place to start too!
@@seedandsparrowhomestead thank you. That's a little drive from me but not to far.

Those are great options too! Sounds like you’ll have lots of blueberry preserves to eat all winter!
I wish I liked the flavor of honey. I have tried a million different types, I think I might try coconut sugar or something.
There are different types of honey to choose from that have different intensity
Yum!!! I have so much respect for you not eating all these wonderful foods you prepare. Prayers
Thank you so much! It’s been difficult 😂
I shop most at Amish stores and their produce markets. I’m in NW PA love knowing my veggies are grown out their back door. Not where ever!!!
Maybe chill the jam in frig. I don't know if it works just poped in my head while watching the video.
I had it stored in the fridge for a day before I made it. I think this jam because it’s no pectin is just a tad runny! But it’s ok, still works and tastes great!
If you think the raspberries are nuts, grt 3 blueberry bushes (different varieties ap polination is better) ypu'll be drowning in them in 2-3 years.
Oh this is exciting! I have 12 😂😬 but it’s only been 2 years and I e got nothing so far!
@@seedandsparrowhomestead all of the sudden they will explode and you'll have more Jam and syrup than you know what to do with :)
