I'm a professional certification instructor for the PMP and ACP. This is a great video for anyone prepping for the PMP exam. The step-by-step explanations for how to determine what the questions are really asking - which, trust me is a major part of passing either exam - and the explanations on how to eliminate some answers and choose others will be extremely helpful to you. I do feel these questions lean toward Agile more than waterfall, but that's just my opinion. This video will still help you a lot. Feedback from my students is that the seventh edition exam has about 50-60 percent Agile or Hybrid project based questions, so knowing Agile thoroughly is crucial. Please keep in mind that leaves about 40% of questions based on waterfall. You'll need to know both methodologies and how to blend them. For the love of humanity don't use the PMBOK as your only study guide or just rely on your real-life experience, doing either of those is a recipe for failure.
@@davidmclachlanproject I think people should know that your video will really help them. You did a great job - people should know it. There are so many bad videos out there....soooo, soooo many useless videos, but yours isn't one of them.
Hi David, your lesson is very engaging and informative. I love the real-life examples that you cite for each question and this makes it very easy for me to understand the whole Project Management topic as compared to reading from the books. And i agree with the others that your motivation is highly contagious! Hope to see more new videos from you! Alternatively, Please consider coming to Singapore to teach PMP :)
Excellent teaching series! The detailed explanations behind the correct and incorrect answers has expedited my understanding of Agile in prep for my PMP exam. Thank you!
Q36 - There's another video with the same questions where you claim that its a single delivery and the in 'incremental' you have small deliveries. This is agile, not incremental
All good and glory, love his videos... just once though, I want him to get the answer wrong, just to see the different side of his reaction. :D thanks for the vids
Lovely videos. I know these will help everyone who watches!
I passed my PMP Exam today and thanks for the videos David.
