Those are really good... all three. I'm TPI instructor, and I think I'll incorporate those in my suggested workouts. Should fix or help several swing flaws...won't help overeating though!!!!
Have you guys ever analysed some of the radical alternative swings out there such as, the single plane swing (based on Moe Norman), Dalton McCrary's release from the top. Stack and tilt. Or David Leadbetter's A swing?
That last drill is similar to the T-Pro device Cameron Smith used to practice with (before his mullet days) (except much cheaper 😉). Extending on the push away concept what do you think about the Pete Cowen Equal and Opposite opposing forces concept(s)? Both hands like they are squeezing water out of a towel creating width between chest and hands - that you try to maintain?
I am reading that the bands are 41" and people can't stretch them. I am wondering if they are 41"doubled and actually on Amazon many of them are showing the bands at 82"Watching Shaun standing with bands they are at least 5ft on either side of his body not counting the part between his feet.
I am far from the weakest guy around. I bought an orange stretch band from Amazon and found that I could not come close to stretching the band up to that airplane level wings position that you show as exercise 1 in your video. Further, I tried the other 2 exercises in your video and there was not near enough resistance to help with the backswing in any meaningful way. Returning the band to Amazon.
I too got the orange 41” band from Amazon and got the same result (or lack of results). I’m an older golfer but not weak. I could not even come close to stretching it as far as in the video! Do you have a link to yours and can you give your viewers the exact length and rated pound of resistance?
@@weldo1948 1/2" (most commonly orange) 41" band are the specs. If too difficult, start with a lighter band then work up. I'm a sr golfer, 6'5 with longer arms so more tension on the band. I use the same spec band, but it does take effort to use good form for a number of reps. Not everyone will have the same starting strength for the exercise.
@@AthleticMotionGolfwould a 41” and be more taught, more stretched, more difficult for a taller golfer compared to a shorter one? Should a taller golfer get a longer band to be equivilant stretch as shown in the video?
@@stevenielsen3 really just depends on physical strength of shoulders. I’m 6’5 with 77” wingspan and is the same band Shaun was. It’s not easy and not too difficult, but we’ve been doing the drill for a while.
We order the bands at least a few times a year. The specs are 1/2" x 41". I use them, I'm 6'5 with 77" wingspan, Shaun uses that band (as you just saw), and it's the same band we use in lessons. If that band has too much tension, please scale down to a longer or thinner band.
I know drill number 2 you’re doing lead side but I’d do trail side as well. Someone out there is going to do a thousand a day and end up looking very odd. 😂

Awesome video! Def going to incorporate some of that stuff in my winter golf training, thanks guys!
Love it. Keep us up to date on how it goes 👊
This is very useful for me. Thanks
Awesome, we hope it helps!
Great stuff guys! Many thanks. This will bring some motion into my living room…👍
Our pleasure!
Great Job Shawn great drill. Dr Kwon would be proud.
Always great content!!

Shaun you better do that this weekend before I come down to FL and whoop on you! Love these drills
@@thomashackett8538 Shaun makes the flywheel look way easier than it is 😅
Got a light band and trie the windmill, wow, lot harder than it looks! Will be using it to develop my golf body, thanks!
Hahah right?! Looks a lot easier than it is, but that's also why it's so beneficial 🙂
Recommendations or link for the bands?
We've always just bought from whatever brand comes up first on Amazon lol. The specs are typically 1/2" wide by ~41" long.
They are just 10-20lb resistance bands. Lots of brands for $10 on Amazon
A product link for that exact band would be great. Ive done similar drills with bands that look to have similar tension and they always snap.
We’re working on this as we speak
@@AthleticMotionGolf I ordered bands that were too short. Appreciate recommendation for long enough band. Thanks.
@@patrickbcoxwe’ve given specs out in a few of the comments. Don’t have them in front of me ATM
Did you post a link to where we can purchase the bands?

Yes. Don't know what that is. Yes. And yes. 🙂
I like the second drill, looks like it has some potential to help stop swaying on the backswing.
lots of potential 😉
The product or specification of the band would be great
@@martinbarnes8366 we’ve posted them a few times in the comments below 👍

Too many golfers "ungrip" the club as they swing so I can see where keeping force on the grip would be helpful to them.

As others have asked, could you please tell us the exact band that youre using here? I have a feeling that they'll have a small spike in their sales 😉
Where did you buy these bands?
Yeah, I would like to know the exact yoga band. That is a hard search because there are a million different types/sizes....
Yes can't work out how long they are

What weight resistance is the band? 5-15 lbs?
yes, to all of these drills❤🔥
