      Yall always get serious respect from me. Like, yall are hard working, decent people who accomplish amazing things, but then you aren't dicks about your accomplishments. My Mexican friends include:
      One doctor (MD), high school buddy
      Two physics PhDs, college friends
      An engineer at a prestigious firm, another college friend
      A successful entrepreneur
      All people I met in high school and college. Every single one of them is just like more chill, open, and easy going, and just more able to be a real person than an "accomplishments list," unlike so many other high achievers.

    The horse meat scandal does make me laugh. In the UK, there are a lot of people who are upset that horses are in food and only European eat horses as we're cultured. But if they do their history, after WWII the British Army had a surplus of horses, which was brought about by the government buying every single horse in the UK to help fight the war. No horse was spared, they took pets, work horses, anything as long as it could be used in the war. So all these horses had nothing to do, they couldn't sell the horses back to the owners. So, with the end of the war, europe had a large shortage of food. The UK sent all their horses to europe to feed the hungry.

There's a Strip Club called little darlings that every year for High School graduation that runs a billboard that says "Congratulations to Graduates - Now hiring class of 2024!". Theres a Lawyer that runs ads here too. One was like "Just like Epstein, this billboard didn't hang itself." and another from the same lawyer "Injured looking for bodies in Lake Mead?"

    As a Manager at a fast food place I can confirm that generally if you bring a "coupon" that looks like it was genuinely issued by us, then we'll accept it. In our system not every coupon is listed and as such the policy for that is that a manager just needs to edit the price to fit the advertised price (not including tax), so this was pretty believable when you consider just how things work. Now that's not to say it's a 100% work every time type deal, but it certainly runs a good chance of working sometimes, especially if you're busy.
    We do keep the coupons however and deposit them with a receipt into a safe for the General Manager to review later, so it's not like we wouldn't find out it's a fake later lol.

      Sunnyv2 has a decent balance of content without overblown commentary, which is ideal for react content creators.
      Sunny basically sets someone up to do the commentary for him. His videos are a series of topics to speak about, but he doesn’t really do the speaking part beyond tying the topics together. He does transition work but that’s about it. It’s why he’s loved so much by Asmon and people like Penguinz0.
      It’s why everyone reacts to him. It’s harder to do to someone like Coffeezilla or ActMan (yes, I know they react to those too), where you have to give commentary on their opinions, rather than “here’s this cray thing, what do you think?” or “this thing happened, then that thing, and it’s probably why their career died - discuss”

    • @TheLitRight
      @TheLitRight 2 месяца назад +2

      Sunny’s content is essentially ideal for legitimate “react” channels. He does a great job of setting up a series of point to comment on; and his own commentary is usually little beyond reading quotes or stringing points of discussion together.

I just stood there thinking about how someone was about to lose their job, when one of the employees came out with a flyer in his hand. He asked if I wanted to take a look around inside, but I just looked at the flyer, and, sure enough, in one of the upper corners there was a speech bubble with "OMFG" written in it. I pointed to the bubble and asked, "You know what the "F" stands for, right?" He looked at it, looked at me, then looked back to the ad.
