Zach attack I’d love to race with you I’ve watched you for a very long time ride I’m a 60-year-old man I Curity I can beat you wanna see NCC race buddy God bless and you have a safe ride
Fair review for sure. I have a 2020 300rr and my gauge cluster also reset. My dealer replaced it along with the cable under warranty. I love these bikes.
Glad you like the bike. I would really like for the Betas, Shercos, and TMs to become more popular in the states so that I could try one sometime. I love my husky but everyone who tries one of these carb euro bikes seems to love them
Nice. I am getting a Beta 200 RR 2T 2021 - the list of mods you provided is a nice touch. The steering stops were the first thing I noticed - dealer ofc told not to mess with these - but since it will be my bike - I will be cutting it down. But you customize or mod any bike you get and ride on eventually.
@ZachAtk1 how has parts availability been with the Beta? I haven’t heard anything negative just figured it was best to ask someone who is probably ordering a fair amount of parts. 👍
Oh my God. I've literally sent Noice in text form to my friends for years. Said it in conversation for years a well. But have never thought to pronounce it "No-Ice." *Vocabulary Compendium Upgraded*
You need to go ride at the ride in springville Alabama those are my home trails, they are awesome, and you can get into some hard trails and there’s a lot of singletrack to,it is for sure the best dirt bike trails in Alabama!
Finally got myself a modern 300, but had no great opportunity to ride one first. Dumb but worked out well as I ended up w a 2020 TX w 46 hrs that was suspended perfectly for me. I was all over a new Beta but had heard the counterbalanced engine was smoother on husky/ktm and I’m old, so smoother as a concept carried the day. Is it that big a difference? May need a second as my son is taking over the TX...
Started watching you several years ago.I think you had just started racing and you were pretty slow but i watched anyway because you were fun to watch. In this video i see you have progressed immensely. What class do you race in? AB or c.Good review by the way. Thanks Z Man.
Zach, You have been an inspiration to many riders. Thanks for your vids and I am glad you are willing to try different bikes. It is so much fun pulling up to the line and looking at all those orange bikes I will be beating up on. Tom
Love to hear your thoughts on the beta. I hoped on board on 2016 with the 430 , still have it as well as a 19 390. Not one single issue in 8000km of hard riding .Bloody awesome bikes .
I got a 22 200rr and due to some hard riding/humble learning I can truly say I am shocked at how solid these are built. Every bike has a few quirks and things you wish could be better, but it’s been my favorite bike I’ve ever had
have you thought about dropping down a size ???? easy to handle on the hard enduro !!! easier to push !! easier to pick up and move around !!!! i would like to see u demo or get the 125 or 200 RR RACE EDITION 2-STROKE by beta
I have a question that is genuine because I'm curious. Why doesnt anyone seem to run any brands like Kawasaki, Yamaha etc. Is it because they don't really have much comparable to the betas, ktms and such? Too heavy? I'm just curious to hear from someone in the sport. Thanks
Didn't mention the lack of a kick starter? Betas start pretty easy but battery gremlins do happen. Other than that, great review! Still ripping on my 2017 300rr :)
I had the computer reset issue too on my 2015 RR250. But I had to take it off a few weeks ago to seal a crack after a crash and discovered that there is a reset button positioned under the edge of one of the rubber mounts (duh!). So if it has a good knock or jolt I am picking the mount pushes the reset.
VERY helpful! Glad you're happy w/it. I was one of the 'do you like the Beta?' I'm a 60yo trail-hacker who bought an Xtrainer. Aside from cheezy wiring, no complaints.
Great video. I'm a shorter rider as well. We look to be around the same build. I'm rehabbing a stag 2 MCL that recently sustained on my husky. I see you're wearing Gaerne boots do you wear a knee brace? If so what kind?
What made you want to switch from ktm to a beta why not a different brand? Not bias just trying to get pros and cons on popular enduro bikes before I go out and spend a few thousand on a bike that may or may not be good on the trail thanks in advance keep ripping
dude i live in fla and raced motocross and hare scrambles for 25 yrs.....funny i have been to whiteall ny twice i think thats whre you bought the bike. i wish i could have had a ride like that
Have you noticed the lower clearance being an issue? It’s about 2” lower than ktm, seems like a lot. When I ride my wife’s xtrainer I definitely notice the low clearance but not sure if the xtrainer is lower than the RR
You know this is a review of Beta's top race bike, correct? I own an XT and the seat height is 35.8" compared to a 300RR at 37". But the XT is what I wanted; a bike you don't need a 34" inseam to be comfortable on.
Hey Zack, thank you for the review. I am curious - recently I took a 2020 Beta300 factory for a test ride. I found the suspension to be extremely stiff and had to fight the back, rather than having the bike work with me. I am 200 pounds dude without full gear. Did you do any mods to your suspension?
I raced my '17 300 RR Race Edition a ton and had minimal issues. My keihin seized up on me but that was operator error and lack of anti-seize on the brass to aluminum. Put on a Lectron 36mm that was from my previous WR300 and never missed a beat. Still going strong but thinking about a 2022 300rr Race but would like to hear feedback on the new motor. Also looking at a GasGas EC300. My '17 Computer/odo goes through a battery about every six months but still works...
Coming off of a 15’ ktm 250 xcw. I demoed a 22 300 Race Edition and I was extremely impressed. Started with the 250 then rode the 300. Both were awesome. I ordered a 300 race and it’ll be here in March. The 300 was the most impressive motor that I’ve ever ridden personally and I can’t wait to get it.
Mainly the price and the suspension. TPI doesn't scare me, but not being able to tune it without having to pay for a tunable ECU was a turn off. All said and done I'd be dumping a lot of money into an already expensive KTM. In all honesty I hope Beta is working on a fuel injected 2 stroke because it is the future and will become a requirement in the coming years...
@@za1racing Both Beta and Sherco have FI two strokes ready but they are waiting until regulations force them to stop producing carb bikes before they release them.
“So basically dees nuts were too thick” 😂😂
Love your vids bro keep it up !!!
Zach! What’s the trick to keep these bikes countershaft seals from leaking!?! They last about 1 hr then leak again.
are you keeping the 2020 model as a "spare" incase you have a really bad interaction/crash/blow up/seize on the new?
Getting my hands on a 2021 300rr race edition and now I’m even more excited
Zach attack I’d love to race with you I’ve watched you for a very long time ride I’m a 60-year-old man I Curity I can beat you wanna see NCC race buddy God bless and you have a safe ride

Come race a Seer hard enduro this season. Round two is across the st from the ttc where tko is hosted and it’s on March 27th
Trying to save enough to put in a deposit for 2022 would love to start riding again and hopefully do my first ever race this year
Heck yea brother. On the Beta Train. Everybody wins with Bet!!
Except beta gncc pros
2022 beta 300 race edition on its way!

I have a 2020 300rr and I noticed a lot of the same things. The computers are known to have reset issues. Mine did that from day 1....

That’s good to know. I am hoping to take delivery of my 1st Beta at the end of this month. 2021 300 Xtrainer. I am a little nervous.
You should 100% be sponsored

Great memories of you last year buddy
Loved all the vids and races 👌
Looking forward to seeing you in 21 season , keep up the good work 🏁
All the pro hard enduro riders just throw the turning radius bolts away mine were robed before first ride
Most people just remove the stop nuts on the steering completely
just curious if you have had the top end done yet.
“Deez nuts are too thick” 😂😂 nice

2021 Alligator Enduro March 11th.. Daytona !!!!!
He took all of his best moments and put them all together
They weren't all my "best" moments haha
Tom's dumb Beta broke Anna's dumb ankle. Worst bike.
Going with RX?
Also the trail tech computers are junk, beta needs to find another manufacturer
Didn't mention the lack of a kick starter? Betas start pretty easy but battery gremlins do happen. Other than that, great review! Still ripping on my 2017 300rr :)
I really dig this bike but I worry about jetting issues as I ride around 7,000 to 10,000 feet, have any thoughts?
I loved my ‘19 300RR. Didn’t gel with a ‘20 300 XCW and am going to try a Beta again this fall. Thinking of trying the 200 for woods riding.

😊
If available for the rr try the Kevlar pads, Use to run them on the rear of my KTMs.
i heard you guys were the reason johnny walker switched to Beta

hopefully the season is better than last year damn cv on ninner
Thanks for the vid. I'm eyeballing a 21 but know nothing about the bikes.
Who know one day Zack could be the MastaBeta. Hahha
Thanks for the review, I'd trust your opinion a lot more than many of the other reviews out there.
Great review on the Beta will have to look into the Beta 300 RR👍🤔
Men, where was that race at? that terrain looks fun!
Zach what camera do you use and what cammera do you recommend?
I'm interested to watch this video and see how you like this bike.. great work zach this helped a lot
