What about the turnograph and first rotating bezel? Or did someone beat them to that?
Nothing wrong with Rolex itself. Some people make this brand as status symbol & investment item over classic high horology.
I love the brand for its origin story and how well they are made. I personally think people are crazy for buying Nautilus/ Royal Oaks. It’s like they have an ego to stroke. Not fans of those people - not knocking Patek or AP - but get over yourselves. Rolex is king for a reason.
Finally acquired my Sub grail, a black stalking beauty but Rolex needs to work on ADs
Love my 1984 Rolex 5513 SpiderDial but can’t sent it back for service they will Swap the dial in a Heartbeat and that is not happening!!!
I would rather own a Breguet or Jaeger LeCoultre for many reasons. Rolex is overhyped but are marketing masters.
Not the best watch maker, not the oldest watch maker, and they disrespect they clientele.. not for me
