    Hi couple, I recommend a carpet square under subs on ground or grass. The driver excursion will suck in stuff, dirt , grass, moisture, through the port.

In particular it showed how it is all supposed to go - quick effective load in (know the the venue, know the layout and the eccentricities), the show sounded great (know the band, know their set, know what they need), rapid load out (efficient lay out, a master Tetris-er in Stacy). Someone sent me a video once and i had "auto download media" enabled on my iPhone. I was wondering where all the footage came from. 😀
    But it's possible someone AirDropped this to you. But one of you had to accept the file anyway, right? Or was it from someone in your contacts list nearby? In that case (depending on how you set up AirDrop) it might download automatically.
    About the stands: I began buying used old stands that i put a little work into to make them even more sturdy. They might not look shiny anymore, but they'll last decades. For lighter stands i put metal rods inside the legs (surrounded by a thin layer of foam. This makes them heavier but more robust against wind and wild stage dances 😀

      24 channels is about the least amount of channels we would consider on a mixer.

      At this gig, we were using a PreSonus 32R mixer. We work out of the state of Minnesota.

    Use a door mat under your subwoofer it protects the sub for damage and insects

    What happened to the newer macbook?

    • @thesoundcouple
      @thesoundcouple  Месяц назад

      Somehow, the plastic around the top of the keyboard got warped and bulged up. Have no idea what caused it, but it was covered on warranty so they replaced the keyboard section of the laptop.
